Maritza is a Lubbock native and graduate of Frenship High School and Texas Tech University.

Maritza practiced in Killeen, San Antonio and Dallas and received extensive trial experience prior to opening her practice in 2011. Her time in Killeen focused extensively on criminal and family law cases of active military soldiers. 

On her free time, she enjoys the Lubbock Art Trails, food trucks and spending time with her family.

I recommend you put her in your contacts and utilize her for Criminal Defense, Family and Immigration Law. Last Will and Testament
I hired Maritza Gamboa to work on my last will and testament.. She explained everything clearly where I understood what she was preparing for me. Definitely the best!!
We hired Maritza to represent us in a very important case. She did exactly as she told us she would do. She took all the necessary information and nothing else, and represented in a very professional and accurate way. It was a win that was very important, she is certainly someone who knows what needs to be done and does it. When we called other attorneys to get consultations, we were lead all over the spectrum regarding this type of case, and when I spoke to Maritza, she recommended going a different direction with it, and she knew exactly what we were asking of her and understood our side. Wonderful lawyer
Martiza is a wonderful very helpful lawyer with my case she took all measures needed to be ready for court. She kept me informed throughout my case and when it came time for court she informed me about what her plan of action was, and how she wanted to go forward with my case.

Hired Maritza to file a case for me and I have to admit, I was totally stress free! She handled it all and kept me informed on the process the entire way through. She stayed on top of my case and it was resolved in such a short period of time. She's professional and extremely friendly and easy to work with. I went to Ms. Gamboa for a medical emergency situation where I needed a medical power of attorney for my mother. She was very helpful in advising me of the different things my family and I would need going forward (living will, will, DNR, etc). It was a very scary time for my family and me; Ms. Gamboa is a true and reassuring professional.

Great attorney!
I needed help with my divorce and she delivered!! Everything went smooth! We both settled on how long we would see our kids and our agreement went hassle free! I would recommend her to all my friends and co-workers. Divorce is never easy but you need the right person fighting for you.

The Best
I hired Maritza for a custody case and couldn't be happier. She was very knowledgeable and was able to walk me thru a unique and challenging case. As a member of the Military and constantly moving around the country, I hired Maritza because of her extensive experience with helping Military families and was relieved at how much she understood about my situation. I was ecstatic about how I was treated and would retain her in the future for whatever legal needs I may have. Highly Recommend.

Highly Recommend
Ms Gamboa was my lawyer on a case where I was charged with several criminal charges. I was looking at doing some jail time and a bunch of fines I couldn't pay. I was afraid that if I had to go to jail for a bit I would loose my job and apartment. Ms Gamboa was able to work it out so that I didn't do any time and no fines. Everything worked out a lot better than I thought it would.

Divorce / Custody
Maritza did an excellent job with my divorce. She kept me informed the entire time in a simple efficient way that reduced the amount of stress as much as possible. I would definitely recommend her and will be using her for whatever legal issues I have in the future.
