Richard Wayne Perry

No communication, made me feel of little worth to him and felt forced into something I didn't want to do. Richard Perry was my court appointed attorney. At first, Mr. Perry never got a hold of me after the first week I got a hold of him. It took 3 months before I got worried and called him. Every tim...e I called him, he told me I have no need to call him that he will call me when he needs something. He was always upset with me when I called. He got a hold of me a week before my court date. I was blind and confused on my current situation, 4 months later. When I started asking questions about my case he would get a negative attitude towards me and talk over me. Every suggestion I asked about he laughed at me and said it was absurd. When asking him can I talk, he said yes and sat the phone on the table, not listening to me. He kept pressuring me to sign the plea agreement and that a jury trial was out of the question and there was no need. He would say that a jury trial is the worse option. He didn't want to work with me. Or even in my case. His attitude toward me, wanting a jury trial, was negative and hateful and he wanted to avoid it at all cost. He pretty much put me in a no win situation and I felt forced into signing the court waivers. I do not recommend Richard Perry to anyone because I feel like he would belittle other clients, as he did me.
