Highly recommend Lisa - very difficult divorce

Lisa was a wonderful ally during a horrible situation - with an incredibly difficult ex. She was very professional and knowledgeable, yet also compassionate. She managed my expectations and helped me see the "big picture", and always pushed for what was best for our kids. I highly recommend Lisa. ... She made an extremely difficult situation much more bearable. She worked very hard to settle our case, but when it became evident that the other side would not settle, she was fantastic in court! She was always well-prepared and and incredibly responsive to me during the entire process.

Highly recommended!

In the 8 years Lisa has assisted me with family law matters, she has consistently helped me obtain the best outcome for my family. Lisa is knowledgeable, professional, and very experienced in both the legal and emotional aspects of divorce and custody agreements. As a mother of two, she is compassi...onate, understanding and an amazing advocate for the interests of her clients, and also takes great care to protect the wellbeing of children stuck in the middle. On several occasions she has told me things I didn’t necessarily want to hear, but were necessary to protect my interests and often proved critical in the outcome of legal proceedings. Lisa is also very familiar with the unique dynamics that present problems for those who serve. Working for the Department of Defense, I’ve often had to rely on her representation while I was overseas. Being stationed in Germany during my divorce, I was concerned I would be penalized because I was not always able to be present; however, during the entire process, she communicated with me frequently and explained everything in a way I could understand, which significantly alleviated my fears. Despite the stress of any family law issues, I am always reassured by having Lisa’s representation. I highly recommend her!

Diamond in the Rough

Lisa represented me in my divorce a couple of years ago. She was attentive, always available, knowledgeable, approachable and very caring. What struck me most about her was her focus on the wellbeing of my son. Regardless of what was going on with the feuding adults, she kept his wellbeing in the fo...refront of all actions. I would say, she is a rare find, among the many, not so honorable, family law attorneys in Austin. I would, and have, given her my highest recommendation.

Review

Ms. Longergaan is an excellent counselor and litigator. She is sharp, strong and compassionate. She handled all the simple to the massively complex issues in my case quickly and effectively. There is no doubt that she was on your side and fought for my best interests from beginning to end. Excellent!

I have just completed a 17 month long custody modification case. Lisa came highly recommended to me by an expert in this field. After my first meeting with her I knew me and my son would be in the best hands. Her poise and professionalism throughout a difficult and at times extremely challenging case... was nothing less than impressive. Lisa is the attorney you want representing you when it comes to the most precious thing in your life, your children. Her compassion for my situation and reality based advice is what makes her the person that has changed my son's and my future. She worked tirelessly to litigate an agreement everyone could live with. I have been and will continue to be impressed with her knowledge and compassion when it comes to family law. Lisa is a true definition of family lawyer as she understands the meaning of family.
