Positive Overall Experience with Evans Family Law Group

I had an overall positive experience with Evans Family Law Group, and appreciate that they specialize in Agreed Divorces. I spoke initially with James Evans, who gave me some creative solutions to some complications/challenges in my case. My assigned lawyer was knowledgeable, patient, and detail orie...nted. The paralegal assigned to my case was also was efficient and helpful. I did experience some impact from turnover unfortunately, and had to work with 3 separate lawyers, which led to some communication gaps and lags. However, they got the job done and I am grateful for their help + support during a difficult period.

Finalized my divorce quickly

Evans family law helped me finalize my divorce that was dragging on for no reason. J Riggs was responsive and supportive through the process.

Jimmy Evans

Jimmy Evans is smart, easy to reach and did a good job on our agreed divorce. He did not add on superfluous charges which we appreciated. Unfortunately, his assistant/secretary was not at all accurate or on top of things. This resulted in numerous misspellings on Jimmy’s drafts and a misspelling o...f both of our names on an official document that she filed with the court. And Jimmy charges $175/hour for her work! With an adequate assistant Jimmy’s firm would be great.

Overall Good Experience

I found Evans Law Group through a google search and after my consultation with them regarding a child support case I wanted to pursue, I felt comfortable working with them. Due to negative experiences with past lawyers regarding my case, I decided to try my luck. My case was settled within a few mont...hs, and was pretty much smooth sailing for me. The team at Evins were all very responsive to my questions and inquiries regarding my case. I would recommend this law group to friends and family.

Jimmy's So Helpful!

Jimmy is every bit the 'scrapper' his reputation holds him out to be. Though it took some convincing to get him into Jimmy's office, once we were there talking to Jimmy my fiancee finally understood how important it was that we get representation for our family law troubles. I am absolutely convinc...ed that without an attorney of Jimmy's caliber we wouldn't have gotten the result we did at our hearing. He made opposing counsel look like an amateur. The paralegal we worked with was brand new to the firm, so there were a couple hiccups with communication, but all was forgiven once we saw Jimmy work his magic while trying to settle and in the courtroom. Family law isn't cheap, but the sense of confidence and dedication from Evans Law Firm was well worth the price.
