Complicated Case, Constructive, Creative and Complete Closure

Working with Jimmy Evans law practice was such a welcome change after having wasted time and money on the same adoption case with other so-called ‘Family Law’ lawyers in Austin. This firm specializes in Family Law, and knows what they are doing. His office is professional, but not ‘stuffy’ feel...ing, well organized and efficiently run. If you call, they answer the phone, talk with you or take a message, and someone will get a response back to you in a timely manner. Jimmy and the staff know how to make effective use of email and don’t “nickel and dime” their clients Jimmy listens to what you have to say and involves you in the thinking and strategy to come up with the best approach – he treats the client with respect and acknowledges that the process, while sometimes stressful, is best handled as a collaboration, and that the client might also have a brain and know something about the particulars of their case. We were able to review documents before submissions to the court, and Jimmy is good at delegating these logistical items to staff whom incur lower billing costs, saving money for the client. Jimmy and firm enabled us to complete the adoption -- after several other lawyers had advised us we would probably not be successful in this quest. We’d recommend Jimmy Evans Law Firm for those in need of a “Family Law” lawyer who really knows his stuff.

Highly Recommended, A Dad Gets to Raise his Kids

I was very happy with the Evans Family Law Group and how Mr. Evans said exactly what he thought would happen and that's pretty much happened. I respected that he was willing to express what he didn't feel was best for me and was open an honest in setting my expectations. As a father of 2 little one...s, having honest expectations was very important to me. I was very much in need for assistance on how to come to common ground with their mother and Mr. Evans and his firm was more than able to do so and I was extremely happy with the outcome. Most told me that dad's in Texas don't get to raise their children. Thanks to Mr. Evans, I have the opportunity to be able to raise my children and be with them everyday. Thank you very much and I would highly recommend Mr. Evans and his team.

Best Family Law Firm in Austin, Tx

I hired Mr. Evans to handle a complicated custody matter regarding my children. Without a doubt, the Evans Family Law Group has restored my faith in lawyers. This is the best family law firm in Austin, Texas ... I would highly recommend Mr. Evans and his team. The paralegal assigned to my case, Lisa,... was thorugh, patient, and a fantastic listener. Mr. Evans and his team were methodical and consitent in assessing, setting, and meeting every goal and expectation. I'm off to enjoy my kids ... THANKS FOR EVERYTHING!!!

Positive Overall Experience with Evans Family Law Group

I had an overall positive experience with Evans Family Law Group, and appreciate that they specialize in Agreed Divorces. I spoke initially with James Evans, who gave me some creative solutions to some complications/challenges in my case. My assigned lawyer was knowledgeable, patient, and detail orie...nted. The paralegal assigned to my case was also was efficient and helpful. I did experience some impact from turnover unfortunately, and had to work with 3 separate lawyers, which led to some communication gaps and lags. However, they got the job done and I am grateful for their help + support during a difficult period.
