Great group, extremely knowledgeable and honest about expectations

We had a complicated situation with continuing Jurisdiction for visitation and parenting agreements in 2 states, with one parent residing in a 3rd state when we were relocated to Texas for work. Evans Family Law group worked with our lawyers in the previous home state to get Jurisdiction in Texas, an...d helped us get the Parenting and Visitation agreement transferred and filed in Texas after a lengthy process. The result was the best possible outcome we could have hoped for, especially given the complicated nature of the situation at the beginning of the process. They are very knowledgeable in Texas and Federal (UCCJEA) family law, we highly recommend them for any situation. They will listen to you and help you achieve the best outcome for your children.

Professional and Efficient

Mr. Evans represented me at a time when I was at my lowest point after my wife had left me. He told me exactly what to expect, developed a long-term strategy plan, and immediately put his plan into action. First Class Representation

I contacted Jimmy Evans in December of 2015. After explaining my situation, which sadly was a custody and visitation issue regarding my very young son, I agreed to hire him as my attorney. At that time, I had already spent close to $200,000 in attorney’s fees with several different family law att...orneys and made little, to no progress. My case was a particularly high conflict situation and my ex-wife had been successful in doing everything she could to prevent me from having access to our son. At this point, I had been fighting for additional visitation for five and half years and I still did not have even one single overnight visitation. I did not have access to set weekends, holidays, or summer vacations with my son. My only in-person visitation was one weekend a month, for four hours on Friday, and eight hours on Saturday and Sunday. Being a career military father stationed abroad made this situation even more difficult. Jimmy Evans studied the long history of my case. He developed strategies to involve the right people, such as the appropriate parenting facilitator and child therapist. He coached me in all aspects of how I needed to conduct myself, both in and out of the courtroom. His vision of what needed to happen in my case, combined with his unmatched ability for strategic thinking and appropriate situational aggressive tactics is unlike anything I’ve ever seen. Jimmy did what he does best. He turned my dire and hopeless situation into everything I had ever hoped for. We recently attended the final hearing in my case and his representation was nothing short of phenomenal. I now have a standard possession order in place with a very short transition into expanded standard visitation. I have all the access and possession I had been fighting for all those years and I now get to see my son on a constant and continuing basis. Highly Recommend Evans Law Firm! Custody Modification Case

I highly recommend Jimmy Evans & his legal team for family legal matters. Mr. Evan's was honest and realistic with me and my outcome with a custody modification. He took the time to explain my options to me and presented me with a realistic approach to getting the safeguards in place for my children.... Mr. Evan's represented me in mediation and was outstanding. Although my case did not settle in mediation, we were able to get an agreement ahead of trail that I was extremely happy with.
