Complex issues made simple

Jimmy Evans was recommended to me by my business attorney to handle my divorce; our joint estate was quite extensive with many accounts in both mine and my wife's names and many individual holdings as well. Jimmy and his team brought me through this tangled mess, instilling confidence while being ver...y up front about the possible outcomes. I think there are similarities and differences in every divorce and I feel that Jimmy's team has seen it all, which allowed them to be friendly, compassionate, and professional in their dealings with both parties (opposing lawyers and my wife) which was important to me since she and I have two grown kids together and we both desired to preserve those relationships. In the end, through mediation, we were able to settle our estate in an acceptable manner to both of us. Additionally, although The Evans Family Law Group is a very well-known firm, their billing was clear, timely and I believe exceptionally economical especially given the length and complexity of this case. I would recommend Jimmy and his entire team to anyone seeking help with their divorce.

Aunt seeking to intervene

Our family is from Texarkana and found ourselves in need of a lawyer in Austin when our nephews were placed into foster care there. It has been a challenge fighting for rights as Aunt and Uncle. Our case is not over yet, but Mr. Evans and his staff have been responsive, have kept us informed providin...g answers to our questions as they arise, and have kept us intimately involved in the process throughout so far. The best experience I've had with a law firm

Amazing customer service! I hired Jimmy Evans to write my pre-nup and his service was next to none. He gave me his rate up front unlike many other firms who leave the total cost a mystery. I had changed my mind about the pre-nup four/five different times and he did not show any frustration and contin...ued to serve me. Finally, I came to him three days before my actual wedding with more changes and he worked on a Sunday to complete the project. Overall this is the best experience I've ever had with a lawyer.

The best and most efficient in Austin

I contacted Jimmy Evans to initiate a very complicated divorce case involving relocation and custody. I had seen countless lawyers prior, and due to the nature of my case, they did not have confidence in reaching the outcome I desired. However when I met Jimmy and his team, everything completely ...changed. I instantly knew they would be the ones that could handle my case in the most successful way and this is why: Jimmy is extremely strategic. He has the unique talent to look at the holistic picture of a case and formulate outstanding creative solutions even when there seems to be a deadend. I trusted my gut feeling and hired him and his team and this was and is the best decision ever made. He handled my case in the best manner I could possibly hope for and I got the outcome I wanted which was incredible. His team is made of top notch lawyers too. Elizabeth is extremely empathetic and technically sound. She and Jimmy have a very strong human connectedness quality too which is amazing and extremely difficult to find in the law field. I was able to totally be at ease with them when telling my very intricate story. They picked up on details that proved to be crucial in making my divorce case a success. I truly believe that this is the most well run, most efficient and most relatable firm in Austin. The others I having seen or consulted with pale in comparison.
