Knowledgable, Professional, and Ethical

Jimmy has an encyclopedic knowledge of the law based, extensive experience with a wide range of cases, and as a result is someone I could completely trust to know what he was doing. He was always willing to explain why certain issues that were under dispute were/were not likely to be upheld by a jud...ge and gave me a very honest sense of what to expect before a judge, with respect to anything I asked him. He took the time to talk to me and answer questions, and was an ethical advocate who was clearly seeking the best outcome for the children. Rarely do I post reviews, but I chose him based on ones I read by people equally unfamiliar and scared by family law, divorce, and custody as I was; and he was a gem in guiding us through a difficult time. I'm so grateful to have found him, and recommend him as one of the most ethical and professional people I've ever worked with.

Professional Courteous and Honest

Though Jimmy is not my acting attorney, he is who I consulted with and is present in my interactions with the firm. What strikes me most about Jimmy is his up front involvement, fairness and transparency. No one looks forward to hiring an attorney, but knowing you have a firm like Evans Family Law a...s your insurance policy in the most delicate of situations makes navigating the court system much easier and offers greater piece of mind.

Jimmy is extremely professional.

Evan's family law firm was wonderful! They listened to me and even counseled me at times when things got rough. I appreciate all the help, the calls and emails always being answered!. They also really listened to me and my wants and needs all while keeping me level-headed and realistic expectations. ... Jimmy is a senior legal aid and helped more than words can say. Best lawyer for agreed divorces

Jimmy Evans took my case at a fraction of the retainer required by most divorce lawyers, considering my ex and I owned a house and have kids. He's able to do so because he also specializes in agreed divorces. My ex and I had already agreed on how to separate and wanted a financially optimal way to ta...ke care of business without learning Texas family law. We're very happy to have found Jimmy's office!

Best in Texas

Jimmy and his team are amazing. The depth of experience and ability to advise on my divorce was incredible. It became very clear to me that they work very hard at what they do. The most amazing thing that I continued to notice was how Jimmy could see far down the road and predict what was going to ha...ppen based on the TX legal system in conjunction with the personalities of opposing counsel. This was impressive and these are the qualities you want in an attorney that you hire to represent you.
