divorce/child custody

I hired Jimmy Evens and his team to be my lawyers for my divorce. It was to be an agreed upon divorce, however there were specific and difficult child custody issues. I found Jimmy and his associates very easy to talk to, responsive to my needs, and financially reasonable. They have worked hard to... take care of all of the frustrating and confusing things that I do not have the time for or desire to take care of myself. The process was explained clearly to me. My divorce is now final and the terms were acceptable for both of us. I would recommend Jimmy Evans’ is group for anyone who is undergoing a divorce.

I hired them to help me threw a divorce that ended up being very lengthy and hard because of my ex. We have a son together and I was trying to get custody of him due to my ex’s problems. Everyone that I worked with on my case over the entire period (which ended up being close to 2 years) was very hel...pful, and in the end we were able to get everything that was needed to make sure that my son will be protected for the future. Awesome choice

I went to Jimmy Evans as my attorney and what evolved into a custody case because he had come highly recommended by a parenting group. The recommendation was dead on. Jimmy listened to what I had to say and took copious notes. His staff was always respectful and kind, and I found his paralegal to... be extraordinarily detail oriented, a major asset in my case. The outcome was even better than I had hoped. Jimmy got more support than expected, repayment for overpayment of insurance premiums (the judge gave us even more than we requested), and substantial attorney’s fees. Perhaps more important, Jimmy persuaded the judge and to ordered measures, such as a parent facilitator, to thwart the conflict that had afflicted my relationship with my son’s father. This was all accomplished even though the case was tried under all the restrictions imposed by the corona virus pandemic quarantine. I would heartily recommend Jimmy and his team. That was the best advice I got, and I’m passing it on to you.

Effective, Collaborative, and Precise

The Evans Family Law Firms played a crucial role in my life transition from family man to a single father. They provided me with a game plan to help me achieve my goals. And this is to be expected of any family law attorney. Still, it was the graciousness, authenticity, and honesty with which he prov...ided counsel and representation that set Mr. Evans apart. His experience with clients and the courts provided me with not just an edge in helping me to achieve my short come goals. Still, he also helped to lay the long game in helping me reach a just and fair settlement. Divorce is what it is, but the Evans Family Law firm helped me to come out with not just my sanity, but the opportunity to build an even better life after a divorce. And that was the first time I worked with the firm!! More recently, the firm helped me establish a more feasible and sustainable co-parenting agreement. Given the current circumstances around COVID-19, working with the firm remote was efficient and straightforward. Throughout a short time, we collaboratively worked out the terms of a new agreement with relative ease. As I said in the first sentence, the Evans family once again delivered on helping my family establish new goal-posts for our co-parenting and professional lives.
