Rebecca was patient. We had a complicated situation. She had the experience we needed to think realistically about our case but the compassion to understand the difficulties we were dealing with. I would recommend Rebecca to anyone that is struggling through the divorce process and needs someone to take over their legal needs.

Though I originally hired a different lawyer at the same firm, Becca was there for me at my mediation and in charge of drafting/editing the final decree in the months that followed. From my mediation on, I considered her to be my lawyer. Because of the change in lawyers, some of the smaller details and paperwork from my case may have been misplaced and caused a possible last minute delay in its conclusion. Becca was diligent and went above and beyond on my behalf to make sure my final decree was proved up in front of the judge on the date scheduled instead of being pushed. I personally appreciate that more than I can express in this review. I found her extremely knowledgeable and she was able to explain some of the procedures to me clearly and precisely.

Becca has held my hand through my divorce, protective custody order, and warrants for my ex-husband’s arrest. She has always been extremely professional with the many challenges my ex has given her. What has amazed me is the patient and professional manner with which she has interacted with him, despite his numerous instances of abuse and threats via e-mails and phone calls.
She has worked in a timely manner and has always responded to my e-mails and phone calls either that day or within 24 hours. If she could not get back to me within 24 hours, she always had a paralegal contact me. I never felt like my e-mails or phone calls were being ignored. If Becca did not know the answer to my question, she would tell me that she needed to do some research and/or make some phone calls. Updates and progress were always current and she kept things moving through the legal system.
She effectively navigated all levels of the legal system working with other lawyers, judges, and detectives. Whether it was the actual divorce proceedings or the subsequent need to obtain a protective order and then warrants for my ex-husband’s arrest, Becca still had empathy for both parties. At one time she and I were both concerned about my ex, so she made the suggestion that she could set up a welfare check.
I would also like to emphasize that all of the aforementioned activity was taking place in two states, and Becca never dropped the ball.
I would definitely recommend Becca to those in the Austin, Texas area for any matters concerning family law.
