Nina has provided immigration advice to me for the past 15 years. Her knowledge of the law and her familiarity with the different immigration officers have proven indispensable as I have navigated the complexities of a J-1 waiver (that was nerve-wracking, but Nina helped present our case in a completely bullet-proof manner) and my green card. Years later I had to turn to her again, in panic, because I didn't realize that my green card was going to expire while I was back in Europe. Again, Nina advised me on how to get a new card on the quick without having to cancel my visit with my ailing Dad. That time, the odds were very much against me, as it was totally my lack of planning, but still, thanks to the fact that she knew the people and how to approach them, I got it done. Just this past winter I needed her help again because I had misplaced my green card right before another overseas trip. Nina was very reassuring and advised me exactly how to deal with it (thankfully card was found before all my hair turned grey). Now I have finally decided to apply for US citizenship and even thought it is a pretty straightforward process, I am still consulting with her, knowing that she will make sure I have dotted every "i." She really is the best there is.

At our fist meeting Nina clearly and comprehensively laid down my options. If it wasn't for that I would've underestimated my situation, missed important dates, and probably not be with my family today. She was very patient and focused when talking to us (my wife and me), leaving the impression that we are the only thing she has on her mind. Also it seems that she's been in this business long enough to know the names of government officials, so she helped me prepare for my immigration interview tailoring my approach specifically for the officer that I was about to meet. Nina has that rare-to-find human touch and it was very encouraging to have her around.
