I give Taralynn 5 stars, if I could give her more, I would. She saved my license, my career and my passion. The Texas BON had me sign a board order in 2013 because of occurrences that happened 3 years previous, I signed the order without the knowledge of it's implications. When I graduated nursing school in 2016, Taralynn represented me before the board and I walked away with an unencumbered license! I had a handful of lawyers tell me that my case was a lost cause, but Taralynn took my case and we fought it, and succeeded! If you are a nurse and need representation before the board, Taralynn is your go-to! I cannot thank her enough for her work and words will never be able to express my gratitude!

After searching online trying to figure out who to even talk to I came across Ms. Mackay's website and proceeded to send an email. The response to the email was faster than I anticipated and after speaking with Ms. Mackay, a small sense of relief came as a result. Her and her staff are very efficient and professional. Although I hope I do not have to require her services, I will definitely pass on her information if I hear of anyone needing representation in front TBON.

I received a letter informing me of an investigation that I may have violated the Nursing Practice Act. A friend referred me to Miss Taralynn Mackay, RN, JD. After my initial discussion with her, I hired her based on the reviews I read online, and her years of experience. She gave me an affordable payment plan, and a well understandable contract. It was about 10 agonizing months of not knowing what will be the outcome. On 08/30/16, I received a phone call from her that the TBON have concluded their investigation with no sufficient evidence that I violated the NPA. Case dismissed.
Thanks a lot Miss Taralynn Mackay. You turned my uncertainty in to a joyous moment. You are the best. I also want to thank Miss Ashley Grimes for responding to my inquiries in a timely manner.

I called you last month upset, devastated and frustrated about my pre-licensure application going to the Enforcement department. Before speaking with you, I had contacted an attorney that advised me that he could send in a letter at the cost of $2000 to let the Board know that my issues were not serious and would not hinder me practicing as a RN. After that long story, you advised me that I shouldn't pay an attorney to send in a letter and to just wait on the Board to clear my file. You could have easily undercut the previous quote I was given and I would have paid you, but you didn't. You were honest and told me that at this point, there was nothing that any attorney could do. You saved me for spending my tuition money and school clothes money for my daughters on an attorney that really couldn't do anything for me. Thank you for be a fair and honest attorney! I really appreciate you. God Bless!

Ms. Mackay represented me in a BON case wherein she managed to reduce restrictions ordered upon myself by the board. I recommend her 100%.

Ms. Mackay represented me in defending my license during an investigation by the BON. She was very professional and experienced as an attorney.Ms. Mackay explained everything from the first phone call. Along the line, another allegation was brought against of the same kind of offense This is a stressful process, but Ms. Mackay always made me feel at ease. I could never thank her enough for all her hard work and dedication to my case. I would recommend anyone who has a licensure or an investigation case before the BON to obtain Ms. Mackay to represent them. Today I received a call and a letter from the board from her stating both cases are dismissed, She is truly an amazing attorney.

Any encounter with an attorney is a particularly stressful experience. Ms. Macay… Taralynn, was thorough and concise, while introducing potential considerations pertaining to my case. After our first conversation I felt assured that my case would be handled with attention to detail. Response to emails were prompt and reassuring, personable and professional. She provided both counsel and representation of my best interest. If you find yourself in a situation that requires representation of an administrative attorney call her, talk to her, and then breathe

Taralynn came highly recommended from some nurses at work who he retained her services in the past and received wonderful outcomes in their cases with the BON. I knew after our first conversation that she was knowledgeable, compassionate and confident in obtaining favorable outcomes in my case with the Texas Board. And I was right. She has exceeded my expectations and I could not be more relieved, appreciative and thankful for her dedication and expertise.

Let me just say what I nightmare last year was! I got my case dismissed & expunged immediately. However, the consequences for me were not over. My nursing license was up for renewal and I was very unclear of what to do. Report or not to report, it was all very scary. I researched lawyers extensively because my nursing license is my lifeline. I love what I do and it pays for everything. Without my nursing license I would probably still feel stuck with the worst person I know and not be able to provide for my family. Ms. Mackay called me within a few days of my email to her. She is extremely helpful, intelligent, and provided me with the information I needed and assured me that everything was going to be okay. Her confidence shines because she is so knowledgeable and experienced in protecting nurses and their licenses. Not only did she consult me on what to do over the phone, she also did not charge me for providing me with the advice I needed to make the right decision based on my individual situation. I'm not sure if she realizes how amazing she is! I've never met her before but her voice is enough to let me know that she has a wonderful heart and is about helping people make the right choices without placing their licenses and lives in jeopardy. I would recommend any nurse or other licensed practitioner to call Ms. Mackay immediately so that she can better assist and provide you with the comfort and ease you need to function both clinically and on a day to day basis. There is nothing scarier than not knowing what the outcome of your future will be with your job and nursing board; and that's where Ms. Mackay can help. She will provide you with the piece of mind you need and that is priceless! Thank you so much Taralyn! -J
