After being convicted of a misdemeanor, I consulting a number of attorneys before reporting the conviction to my professional licensing board. Most of the attorneys described a process that was likely going to cost me many thousands of dollars, and they didn't seem to have any feel for how the licensing boards operated or what the outcome might be. I luckily consulted with Sara, who seemed much more honest and familiar with how the professional licensing boards in Texas really work.
I found Sara to be extremely knowledgeable about the process of dealing with professional licensing boards in Texas, and she worked closely with me through the process of reporting the issue to the board. Her rates were very reasonable, and the outcome was as optimal as it could have been, with no action taken against me by the board! Thanks Sara!

Any business owner knows that you're only as good as the advisers you surround yourself with. I can personally attest to the value that Sara's counsel provides.
I originally contacted FosterLaw to file a complaint against a former vendor. They were licensed and regulated by a state agency and I approached Mark Foster and Sara Hammond to leverage their expertise and connections within the bureaucratic quagmire that is Austin, Texas. They exceeded expectations and performed the impossible - making things happen fast and accomplishing our goals.
Sara is intelligent, honest and transparent. She shares what she knows and doesn't know -- the latter of which can be rare attribute amongst attorneys. Most of all, Sara isn't afraid to roll up her sleeves and find the facts. On more than a few occasions I would catch her researching case law (many times off the clock) just to reassure herself that the position she was endorsing was sound and represented my best interests.
To the point that many business owners are very interested in - her billing reflects her character...it's honest and transparent. She's cost-conscious and only bills for the time she used...many times less than she used. In fact, I would often get emails where she would offer to research something further but would seek my approval in advance. I love that...and it speaks volumes about how much she respects and appreciates the investment her clients are making in her time.
The bottom line is that Sara treated my business like her own...and because of that she's earned a long term client that will treat her business the same.

I have utilized Mark as my attorney for two telecom related companies. Mark has been very successful in negotiating, raising or, resolving multiple put before the PUC of Texas between my corporation and AT&T. Additionally, Mark lead the efforts to allow me to start a new CLEC in Texas and New York.
Mark is a very knowledgeable and trustworthy lawyer. He will continue to be my corporate attorney for as long as I am in the telecom business/industry. I would highly recommend Mark for all your Telecom needs in Texas.
