Amazing Amazing Amazing

I never thought it would be possible, but Spencer was able to dismiss my DWI. I thought it was going to be impossible. Along the journey, we met every time he had new information for me and explained information clearly. I always felt up to speed. He also managed my expectations, saying what may happ...en but not to get my hopes too high. But he did not disappoint! Not only did he dismiss my DWI but he also dismissed my sister's marijuana charge. This lawyer is brilliant. Worth every penny.

Jaime Spencer Saved My Career!

Jaime was able to successfully get my Drug case dismissed in Williamson County despite overwhelming evidence that may have highly implied guilt. I believe that in itself should highlight Jaime's abilities. My case never made it to trial after successful negotiation with the prosecution. I highly reco...mmend Jaime if you find yourself in a similar situation.

Perfect Lawyer? Yes.

Jamie Spencer took care of a potentially life-shattering shoplifting charge for me with the utmost finesse. I was so bowled over with his service that when my son was caught with marijuana and paraphernalia, I immediately contacted Jamie. I have worked for attorneys, so I have an idea of how they wor...k, of their ethics and organization. I have used at least two attorneys for personal business who did not get me what was agreed to. I can finally say from personal experience that there are excellent attorneys in the world who do the job, and Jamie Spencer is most definitely at the top of the list. I was caught shoplifting at the local grocery store, a first (and last) offense. I was of course horrified. I googled "shoplifting lawyer Austin" and the first hit was Jamie Spencer's fascinating blog (blog.austindefense.com). I read his blog posts, including those under "theft/shoplifting" and was immediately put at ease by his writing ability and knowledge and experience. I was impressed with the effort to create such a helpful resource for those in trouble, as well as one that proved almost too interesting to stop reading, not to mention that he knows how to get his blog to appear first in a google search. I called him and immediately got an appointment. He was friendly and straightforward with a clear organized mind. His experience definitely shone as he explained what it all meant, what to expect, what he could offer me, and what I would need to do. He also offered me a payment plan. My most important need, aside from having this handled in the best possible way, was for absolute secrecy. NOBODY I knew could know about this charge (and they still don't). This is one of the main ways that this experience proved to be - dare I say, almost pleasant? Another thing is I needed someone to truly handle this problem for me. I am extremely busy managing not only my life but the lives of several others, in addition to work. Jamie needed me to do a few things to help him with the case, mainly provide a narrative of what happened and some reference letters. Later I paid about $200 in court costs and took an online course on why people should not steal, which was actually quite interesting and gave me a couple things to think about. I shoplifted in August of 2010 and the case was closed by April of 2011 with a dismissal. During this time, I went to court twice: The first time was the mandatory booking. The second time, I met Jamie at court. I was there maybe one hour, perhaps two. The judge wasn't even there; Jamie had me meet with to a court official or prosecutor for less than a minute while this person recited an obligatory directive, to which I of course agreed with a smile. And that was it for me. Jamie did the rest. Jamie is a friendly, charming and forthright person who tells you the way it is, tells you exactly what you need to know and do, and does it in the most courteous, professional way possible. I never felt shamed in his presence for stealing. He answered all my questions. Also, I must say that his assistant Makenna is a down-to-earth dynamo. I cannot recommend him enough to others. Do yourself a favor and hire Jamie; you will be thankful you did.
