I only was in court the night I was arrested and when my case was dismissed. She took care of everything, highly recommend.

Exceptional DWI lawyer

Started with another firm with a DWI who advertises everywhere and was disappointed with the level of service and attention to my case. Found Hildreth & Rueda through additional research. I wish I would've started with them. Flo is no nonsense, practical, and does not over promise. However, she ov...er delivered and exceeded all of my expectations and even had a few really good surprises in my case. If you need a criminal defense attorney, you do not need to look any further. Flo is an exceptional lawyer, attentive and, unlike many lawyers, very approachable was available whenever I needed her. Her 5 star reviews are warranted and I wish I could give her 10 stars.

Best choice I ever made

I found myself in a very bad situation in a city I wasn’t familiar with. She wasn’t the first lawyer I spoke with but after having the consultation with her, I hired on the spot. From explaining every step in the process to her reassurances, Mrs. Rueda was amazing. I’ve never been arrested before and... was terrified that my stupid mistake was going to cause me my career. Mrs. Rueda spent so much time working with me and strategizing for my trial. When the day of my trial came, she wasn’t even phased. At the end of those two terrifying days, we heard “not guilty.” Hire Mrs. Rueda. You won’t find a more dedicated, intelligent and professional lawyer. Than you for an amazing job!

First DWI - BAC was 0.175%

I was arrested for DWI on a Class B in Austin but the charge was later upgraded to Class A as my blood came back at 0.175%. I did my research and hired Florencia Rueda as she had stellar reviews across multiple sites. I then met up with her in person and within a day hired her to represent me in this... case. She was a straight shooter and did not sugarcoat anything. Did not make any promises to make me feel better. When my charge was upgraded to a Class A, the first deal she got me was to get the Class A down to Class B with a DWI conviction. The only thing that was left was the video of my arrest. The video finally came out and it was "OK" meaning did not impact my case positively or negatively. I was mentally preparing myself to take the Class B DWI conviction and then came the miracle at least it was a miracle for me. Ms. Rueda was able to use her charisma and got me a new deal which seemed next to impossible. I was able to walk away with an Obstruction of Passageway conviction and just a $200 fine. No Jail Time, No Community Service, No Probation. I was also offered "Deferred Adjudication" on the obstruction charge with a 12 month probation. This would have obviously kept the conviction away as well but i did not want to take a risk of being on a probation and messing up my case further. I was able to keep my license and did not even had to get a SR22 insurance. Florencia is an amazing lawyer and one of the best in the Austin region. If you need help, retain her without a doubt as she will do her best to get you out of a "hopeless" situation. I wish i could give her more than 5 stars!!
