First DWI - BAC was 0.175%

I was arrested for DWI on a Class B in Austin but the charge was later upgraded to Class A as my blood came back at 0.175%. I did my research and hired Florencia Rueda as she had stellar reviews across multiple sites. I then met up with her in person and within a day hired her to represent me in this... case. She was a straight shooter and did not sugarcoat anything. Did not make any promises to make me feel better. When my charge was upgraded to a Class A, the first deal she got me was to get the Class A down to Class B with a DWI conviction. The only thing that was left was the video of my arrest. The video finally came out and it was "OK" meaning did not impact my case positively or negatively. I was mentally preparing myself to take the Class B DWI conviction and then came the miracle at least it was a miracle for me. Ms. Rueda was able to use her charisma and got me a new deal which seemed next to impossible. I was able to walk away with an Obstruction of Passageway conviction and just a $200 fine. No Jail Time, No Community Service, No Probation. I was also offered "Deferred Adjudication" on the obstruction charge with a 12 month probation. This would have obviously kept the conviction away as well but i did not want to take a risk of being on a probation and messing up my case further. I was able to keep my license and did not even had to get a SR22 insurance. Florencia is an amazing lawyer and one of the best in the Austin region. If you need help, retain her without a doubt as she will do her best to get you out of a "hopeless" situation. I wish i could give her more than 5 stars!!

DUI Sentence Reduction

Our son got a DUI in Texas, left the state and missed a court date. Ms. Rueda negotiated an agreement that he fulfill court ordered requirements in another state and plan to return to Texas for court appearance and serve his sentence. In the end, she was able to reduce his sentence to "time served"... and not have to appear in Texas after all. Ms Rueda was prompt with responses and provided clear directions during the process. We appreciate her professionalism and ability to simplify this complicated situation.

Florencia made it so easy!

Florencia was extremely responsive, honest and thorough. I couldn't have asked for a better resolution to my first dwi arrest. Ended up as a deferred failing to signal ticket.

Simply The Best

Florencia brought me hope at the darkest days of my life. She did everything in her power to make sure I have my life back. Surely, not long after she got on my case, the case was dismissed!! If you happened to stumble upon Hildreth & Rueda's page or was recommended to Florencia by someone, you... should stop looking for another attorney because it was fate and luck that you found Mrs. Rueda.

TRULY THE BEST!!

It is next to impossible to adequately describe my experience working with Flo. I was facing a second DWI w/collision and alone in my troubles; crippled with anxiety. Enter Flo. She immediately took the reigns of my case and put my mind at ease. She was upfront and honest about what I was up against ...and what I needed to do. She walked me through every step of the case, keeping my anxiety at bay. She handled everything. EVERYTHING! I didn't have to set foot in a courtroom up to my final court date upon which she got my DWI 2 dismissed and the charge reduced to an obstruction of a roadway, deferred adjudication. Every 5 star or 10 review posted in regards to Flo is more than deserved. Flo truly is the best at what she does and a phenomenal person. Thank you Flo!
