I was misled by an unscrupulous attorney into pleading guilty to a felony charge in order to receive deferred adjudication. I later discovered that my plea had far worse consequences than I was told. Chris filed a successful writ of habeas corpus to reopen my case by showing that my trial attorney provided ineffective assistance of counsel. The dismissal of my charges means that I can expunge my record and pursue the career of choice. My impression of Chris is that he is extremely bright, dedicated, caring, hard-working, ethical, and resourceful. Chris was always easily accessible. Also, his fees were completely reasonable. I spoke with other attorneys who wanted a lot more than Chris to file a writ of habeas corpus. Plus, since Chris got my charges dropped as well, this meant that I did not have to invest more money at the trial level, not to mention incalculable time and emotional energy. With Chris as my advocate, I had a fair shot at justice and justice is what I got. Everyone deserves that. So, I strongly urge you to go to Chris if you or someone in your life is dealing with a criminal matter.
