Great Attorney!!!
I am so greatful to have hired and met Attorney Richard Ursha, of Wimberely, TX. He has, without a doubt, proven that he is very knowledgeable with the law and the Justice System. I have hired him 2 or 3 different times in the past, and each time he has come through where my case(s) have either been reduced or dismissed. The last time I was in court, Attorney Richard Ursha presented a recommendation in court, under the justice system, which had to be looked up or reviewed by the Judge and Prosecutor. Thats when I was completely convinced that Attorney Richard Ursha of Wimberely, TX does know the law and will look for ways to better serve and defend his clients to the fullest. I am so glad to have hired him. I have spend time and money driving back and forth to Wimberely but have no regrets whatsoever as all my past cases have been resolved at a VERY satisfactory level. Thank You, Attorney Richard Ursha. Pedro

Exceptional Attorney, Compassionate Advocate!
I had the privilege of working with Attorney Richard Ursha recently, and I cannot speak highly enough of my experience. From the outset he exhibited a level of professionalism and empathy that immediately put me at ease during a stressful time. Mr. Ursha not only demonstrated an impressive understanding of the law but also took the time to listen to my concerns and address them with care and consideration. He was incredibly responsive, promptly answering any questions and text messages anytime and keeping me informed every step of the way. Thanks to Mr. Ursha’s expertise and dedication he successfully helped me navigate through a challenging legal situation, ultimately securing the dismissal of two DV related criminal charges brought against me by the prosecution. He went above and beyond to ensure the best possible outcome for my case, all while keeping costs reasonable and manageable. What truly sets Mr. Ursha apart is his genuine commitment to helping clients beyond the legal aspects. One will feel the human touch and connection upon meeting him. As someone on a temporary US visa, I was particularly grateful for his understanding of my unique circumstances and his efforts to alleviate any additional stress associated with my immigration status. In short, if you're in need of legal representation, I wholeheartedly recommend Attorney Richard Ursha. He is not only an exceptional attorney but also a compassionate advocate who genuinely cares about the legal outcome and well-being of his clients. Thank you, Mr. Ursha for your outstanding work and unwavering support.

Excellent Attorney
Having found myself facing a Class A Misdemeanor Assault charge and having phone-interviewed a number of attorneys, it became clear to me that the possibility of serving any jail time for my actions was not realistic. With that in mind, extensive trial experience was not a necessary criterion in selecting an attorney. Why go to trial if you know you’re not looking at any jail time? Sure, you could go to trial to try and get better terms with the DA, but it could backfire and possibly then land you in jail. No thanks – too risky! So, I thought I was looking at a fine and probation. How much of each was the issue. I knew my search for selecting an appropriate attorney would have as its highest criteria the experience that person has with the DA’s office. Is this person in and out of the courts every day? Does this person have an established relationship with all the players (DA, ADA’s, etc.)? How long has this person been at the game? Does this person have enough experience with the DA’s office to know when he’s gotten the best deal he’s going to get? Can this person direct me to appropriate preliminary actions which would soften the assigned ADA’s attitude? I’m happy to say I found the person that met all that criteria. Attorney Richard Ursha. Richard was great. For his reasonable fee, he represented me at all court dates (there were three) negotiating on my behalf, negating the need for me to ever have to appear in court. This was a real bonus since I live in Houston and the court was in San Marcos! I think the averted travel fees alone paid for his fee! Well, my decision paid off (one of the few times in my life that has been so!). The ADA would dismiss my case pending completion of an anger management course ($45 and two hours on the internet) and twenty-four hours of community service. Twenty-four hours of community service!!!???? That’s nothing. I could do that standing on my head. I spend more time than that watching TV in a week. No fine, no probation! Needless to say, I was ecstatic about this outcome. Having been in the Navy in my youth, I have a soft spot for the military and gladly spent the community service time at a local military charity where I made new friends. It is hard to imagine a better outcome to a very stupid decision. If you find yourself in a similar situation, do yourself a favor and call Richard. He knows what he’s doing.

AMAZING. Doesn’t judge one simply by a written record written by someone who never even met you,MOST attorneys judge you in min.
He actually listened to me even though he was about 5min before closing for the day,not only listed but understood and had a wonderful conversation for 20-30min….that ,simply that conversation told me everything I needed to know and immediately started working on my cases(plural lol).. Got them resolved in 15-24 hrs. Shouldn’t say this but he should be charging more for all he does, above and beyond. Mr. Richard is truly the best, wished I knew about him before I hired my rude judgmental Austin attorney. Affordable, and I’m broke as heck.

Best and most energetic lawyer ever!
From start to finish, Richard was very kind and sympathetic to my situation, and even gave me options to deal with my case to fit what I needed. He only had me come to court when it was absolutely necessary, saving me lots of time and stress, and in the end, I strongly feel I was lucky to have chosen him as my attorney. He did not have the bullish and dry personality I have seen with other lawyers, but he in fact was easy to talk to, a bit humorous, and was very down to earth. He seems to be well informed and has alot of history with the judges and prosecutors in court which can be VERY helpful. I highly recommend him.

The Best Attorney
I hired Richard to represent my daughter for a DUI, she is a college student. Richard was able to get better results than I expected. He was able to keep DUI off her record. He quickly responds to questions and truly cares about his clients and their future. I highly recommend Richard.

Fastest and Nicest Lawyer EVER!!!!
Mr. Ursha was more tentative and responsive to my many questions than any lawyer could have ever been. I am so thankful for the prompt manner that he would respond to my phone calls. We had a very small chance of winning and he told us every single detail of the things that we needed to get done and in the exact time amount that we needed it done (and we ended up winning our case). I would highly recommend Mr.Ursha to anybody needing a criminal defense lawyer.

Best I could ever ask for.
When I found myself in need of a lawyer, Rich was there with knowledge, assistance, kindness, and comfort. He seemed to know what I was going thru and was accessible to answer my calls / questions. He always kept me in the loop with what was going on with my case, and reminded me of when and where I needed to be. His professionalism was more than i could have asked for, more than I ever expected. He treated me as a person, as a friend. I wasn't just another client, paycheck, to him!

Mr. Ursha has been working with me for the past 5 years. During that time period I was charged with 2 DWI's and driving with a suspended licenses. I was referred to Mr. Ursha by some friends that I trusted who had been in similar situations. Since then Mr. Ursha has taken care of all charges. This man is a brilliant attorney and a straight up great man. He is honest and up front about everything and doesn't judge. On top of that, extremely knowledgeable, easy to talk to and has a great since of humor. He always returned my calls and gave great advise. During those 5 years, I was going to school so money was very tight. I remember when I needed to pay Mr. Ursha for his services. I needed a little more time to come up with the money. He gave me some extra time. Most lawyers wouldn't do that. He was very patient with me and I am so thankful for that. Mr. Ursha has the up-most integrity and truly wants the best for his clients. I am writing this review today because I was given a second chance at starting a professional life due to Mr. Ursha's services, kind heart, and professionalism. I am so blessed to have Mr. Ursha as an attorney and friend. I feel that it's my responsibility to pay it forward. I have recommend Mr. Ursha to friends in that past and he has always come through for them. I would trust Mr. Ursha with my life. This gentleman is a SAINT and I can't say enough good things about him. If you want a phenomenal attorney contact Mr. Ursha, you will not be disappointed.

Great lawyer!!!
I've never needed a lawyer before, but Attorney Ursha was great. He knew what he was talking about and was able to get my case dismissed. I never had to go to court in the 6 + months the case lasted!

Some help
I had Mr. Ursha help me back in 2013. This was great help, but now that I need additional assistance his communication is very poor and choppy. I was excited to try and get some additional assistance: however I feel like I am not important now that I am a repeat client. Very frustrating and disappointing.

Terrible Representation
I faced a bogus POM charge while in college that stemmed from an affidavit that contained several blatant lies. For example it incorrectly said that I supposedly purchased marijuana from an undercover agent. However, I was in Dallas for a funeral in front of hundreds of people that day. Furthermore, my roommate at the time had already plead guilty for the possession of the mj found in the apartment's living room. When I asked Ursha about the affidavit, he said something along the lines of, "well, they lie a little bit, you lie a little bit and the truth is somewhere in the middle." If I wasn't a broke college student, I would have left immediately. However, he charged me the last $1,000 I had. It was an awful experience that I endured and he was a part of it. I would never recommend this guy. He pushes the fact he knows all of the prosecutors and that he hangs out with them like that's supposed to instill confidence in him. I want someone who fights for you and isn't worried about ruffling some feathers. All in all, he may work for some folks, but he didn't work for me. I can not recommend him as an attorney.

Response from Richard Ursha August 26, 2015
Please feel free to call me at (512) 738-1266 to discuss the facts of your old POM case. I do my best for all my clients, including follow up work after. A vast majority of my POM cases are dismissed in a way that they can be expunged or non-disclosed. If your's was, I am happy to discuss helping you clear it off your record. Also, it is always the clients choice to take their case to a jury or to plea. If your case was truly bogus as you say, then you could have had a jury trial and brought the 100's of witnesses. I'm sorry you are not happy with the results in your case, but I am always happy to discuss the facts of your case with you.
