David Hardaway helped me, a senior in high school, lower a class B marijauna posession to a Class C misdemeanor, which was very important. This was my first experience with the law and it was comforting having David work for me. I trusted him. I have college plans and didn't want them ruined. Now... we can file to have the class C taken off my record. His fees were very reasonalbe, he was in constant contact with me concerning the case and what was going on and he knew people in the AG's office which was also important. He did a great job.

I was in need of hiring an attorney to defend my daughter in a criminal case. Not being from the area and realizing the fate of my daughter's future would rest in the hands of whomever I chose, I scoured the internet gathering information on attorneys in the Hays County area that could possibly defe...nd her. I arranged consultations with 5 of the 8 attorneys I phoned. David Hardaway was the only attorney that would actually speak with me over the phone. That initial phone call lasted for over 30 minutes with David patiently and thoroughly answering all of my questions. He was the first attorney we met with. I was impressed with his sincerity and his knowledge of the law. Before leaving his office he made sure he had answered all of our questions. We walked out of there feeling confident all would be well. We went on to meet with 4 other attorneys. After each consultation we discussed the pros and the cons of that attorney. We kept finding ourselves comparing each of them to David Hardaway. The other attorneys we met with did not seem genuine. They all seemed to project gloom and doom regarding my daughters case and lacked a "human" side to them. It was all very impersonally and seemed to be more about money then my daughter's future. We confidently chose David Hardaway as our attorney. He offered his services at a reasonable fee. Was always available to answer my phone calls. At one point, I emailed him some questions I had forgotten to ask while on the phone and he returned my email that same day. Within a week of hiring him, David met with the prosecutor and they dropped the case against my daughter! I would not hesitate to recommend David Hardaway to anyone in need of a excellent criminal defense attorney!

David Hardaway helped my son's legal problem. David's help provides my son a second chance in life and we are very grateful. We met with David several times. We found he is very sincere, willing to help, and works hard. On his website it says 24/7Access and David answered or returned my phone ...calls always. During our discussions/meetings with David we could tell that he really felt what hurt us the most and clearly communicated what he could help, the timeline, and the steps. David works fast and brings result. He talked with my son right after our first phone conversation. He took over the case and did the paper work, negotiated with the prosecution to agree on terms in one week. He charged us a reasonable fee. I would highly recommend David to help your case/situation. I know that David will give you the attention and work on your case to bring the best possible result at a reasonable cost.

***BEWARE*** STAY AWAY FROM THIS FRAUD!!!! I hired David to help me with my assault case. He talked a big game before he took my money, then after my case was reset half a dozen times so he could collect the monthly payment, everything changed. After I was just about done paying him off he got me... no better deal than the very first offer I was offered when I had my court appointment attorney. I could have taken the offer a year ago and been done with everything months ago but I trusted David to help me. Boy was I wrong!!!!! I spoke to another guy at the courthouse who was represented by this lying lawyer and he told me he did the same thing to him. I thought I would be represented by David but never met him, he sent his co- conspirator Trey Thompson. He could never make it bc he apparently was sick every court date I had. This loser will take your money and not do a thing for you. How he gets any good reviews is beyond me. DONT TAKE A CHANCE SPENDING YOUR HARD EARNED MONEY ON THIS FRAUD!!!!

Will represent you, will consult with you, but will not fight for you. You’re basically paying for his name on your case rather than paying for a lawyer who actually cares to get you the best outcome. Reset my court dates till he was paid off then went with the first offer without even trying to nego...tiate. Gave up my case because “it wasn’t a slam dunk”. I was given a penalty far worse than other friends who had a worse case than me. Aside from the thousands he charges for your case (supposedly a set fee) he even charges hidden 100 dollar fees for the court dates he shows up just to reset. If you’re looking for a dwi lawyer, I’d recommend looking elsewhere.
