Honest Client Experience with Steve Zimmerman

I retained Steve Zimmerman, along with Jarrod Smith, Bradley Vinson, and Charlie Falck, during a critical phase of my legal matter. Steve Zimmerman was one of the attorneys involved in managing my case. During this time, I experienced a personal emergency that caused me to miss a scheduled court a...ppearance on May 27, 2025. Shortly afterward, the firm filed a motion to withdraw from representing me. I was not contacted before this decision and did not have the opportunity to explain my circumstances, which left me temporarily unrepresented. When I followed up with the firm, communication was unclear regarding how my case would proceed. Later, a refund was mentioned in relation to closing the matter, and I was informed of a newly adjusted balance that had not previously been provided in writing. All statements in this review are based on my direct experience as a client. This review reflects factual events and my personal experience with the firm’s handling of my case.

This review is not based on the quality of any legal representation. Instead it is based this individual being upset about his choice to not meet his contractual obligations with Smith & Vinson Law Firm.My role in this case was conducting an evidence review where all evidence was reviewed with this individual. I had no other involvement in the case before this individual decided to violate the terms of his signed agreement with Smith & Vinson Law Firm. While I was not personally involved in any other capacity, I am aware this individual was informed that the firm would be withdrawing from his cases and the exact reasons for withdrawing, prior to withdrawing. Reviews can be a valuable tool for assessing whether an attorney or a law firm is a good fit for your case. That said, some reviews are based on legitimate issues regarding the quality of legal representation.
