Highly Reccomended Lawyer

February, 2012. Mark Morales is one of the most capable and knowledgeable attorneys that I have found in the Austin area. I have dealt with many attorneys on a business level but at age 40 I found myself in trouble with the law for the first time. The charges were of a fairly serious nature and frank...ly I was scared to death. The legal system is a total mess and can be not only confusing but frightening as well. Unfortunately it is not fair. The proper attorney can mean a world of difference. Mark came reccomended from a friend, but still I researched at length and used every avenue at my disposal in choosing him. There are so many attorneys out there that it is very difficult to know who is good and who is not. You need someone that not only knows the law but has a respectable reputation within that community. Mark knows the law and is very diligent at his practice. Just as important he has a great reputation which precedes him. He treated me not only professionally but I felt my case was very important to him. He gave me all the information possible along the way to make informed decisions and the most important part was that when I asked him if he were me what he would do? I trusted his advice. My case took a long time to move through the process because it was in Williamson county but at no time along the way did I feel Mark was less interested than he was the day I retained him. He even gave me his cell phone number so I could call him after hours to for any questions I had. I have and would recommend him to anyone that is serious and needs and wants excellent representation. In serious I mean I would never send him anyone that I think may waste his time. I have too much respect for him for that. He is very good and anyone that he represents should feel very fortunate. In the end he resolved my case with the prosecutor in a way that I could not have been more pleased. He is excellent at what he does and when you meet him, you will know it too.

His office and him are unprofessional

Mark Morales I hired him last year for My Husband‘s parole he is non-professional took $2500 for me and he still got a set off again we all love Jesus but that’s not how we do business with the parole board they didn’t even put his packet together and lied and said they did last year regardless of s...omebody’s relationship you’re supposed to do what you need to do to get them out My Husband’s in there for a simple drug charge We all know methamphetamines is a hard one to kick but Mr. Morales took $2500 and did absolutely nothing that alone should be a crime from the beginning it was a disaster it started with Mr. Lane himself lied said he could help get him home Leah they had no contact with my husband they didn’t put his packet together instead of saying I don’t think I can win your husbands case they just take your money every parole attorney I’ve talk too even said Aaron got 30 years for a simple drug charge doing what has to do to better himself also all the attorneys I talk to even said Mark Morales doesn’t know what he’s doing what a waste of time my husband is doing everything possible to stay out trouble classes and you name it, I make sure he’s taken care of I wasted my money on a attorney that don’t care.. before I even paid him off he wouldn’t give my money back so I can get a better attorney attorney nicole’s had two of his clients it’s a shame that he can just take your money know when you’re single parent because he knew he couldn’t win this one instead of being honest here so office there’s only one lady that was nice about everything..

Count count on them

Paid for an investigation. Not only did they drop the ball and tell me not to worry about the investigation anymore, they received information on my case a couple years later and never told me. It wasn’t until I was arrested that they told me. Now they say they have no information on my case other... than what I provided. You can’t trust this law firm. I have since hired an amazing attorney who I trust.

This guy is a marketer. Not a trial lawyer.

I had a couple felonies. He could've had everything dismissed if, he really handled, and worked on my case. Three lawyers handled my case. He's great about selling himself. He says he has a higher calling. He kinda likes to council/sermon to his clients. Which I'm not knocking him on that. He'll get ...off base, and not address you, your case, needs, and pertinent facts relating to your case. But,...when it comes to handling the cases, and when it matters most; he doesn't really care about being clear on understanding/digesting your case, and fighting with a strong litigating plan. He loves to scrape it off on the lawyers that work for him. Which some have experience, but some really don't. I know that sometimes I couldn't reach him. He wouldn't contact me outright to tell me about my case, and how things were going. He would be out of office on stupid crap. He would schedule meetings, then call them off. I could write a novel. I'm stopping here.

Don't fall in love with the fluff reviews.

Mark does what's best for him. And taking on to many cases and doing the bare minimum is what's best for him. He doesn't fight hard like he claims. He doesn't respond timely and even forgets when you have court with him. He was out of town or on vacation most times that I tried to hammer stuff out. O...n top of that, he use to be a prosecutor, and it shows because he essentially prosecutes you when you try and explain events. Everyone who I have told my plea deal, including other attorneys, all tell me I got screwed. Then they all ask me who my attorney was and when I tell them and they immediately say " That's your problem, that dude is sorry".
