Waste of time and money
I hired Shannon Lockes firm for a felony case. At first they pumped me up to believe they would get my case taken care of but after years and years nothing was happening. Started off with communication then nothing. I would be lucky to hear back once a month. The last straw was when Mr.Locke came...
I'm sorry but leaving an anonymous review like this makes it impossible for me to know who you are, and what happened with your case. This situation does not sound familiar. I would suggest that the reason you have not reached out to me personally is that you know that you are fabricating reviews and would likely open yourself up to a defamation lawsuit if you revealed your identity. If you have actually been a client of mine, please contact our firm and will discuss how we can make this right.

Negative Impact on Community Safety
As a neighbor in Bexar County, I’ve been directly affected by the outcomes of cases involving clients represented by Shannon Locke. Those outcomes have made me feel less safe in my community. I’m writing to express my disappointment and to encourage the firm to consider the broader community impact o...

I do not understand any of what is being said, or trying to be said in this review. I do not believe it represents the experiences of a current or past client.

Agree with low ratings
And so does one of the best criminal attorneys who warned me not to use Shannon. He also ripped us off and kept over $7,500 of unearned fees and refused to return it claiming it was for expenses that he never contemporaneously itemized, billed, or otherwise mentioned until AFTER the demand to return...
I believe that I know who is writing this review. The case being referred to was extremely complex. It involved multiple allegations and took place in Kendall County, Texas, a notoriously tough jurisdiction. We were able to get the allegation of Manslaughter reduced to Criminally Negligent Homicide. I believe that our trial advocacy saved our client years of prison time. I am attaching a link to the publicly available Court of Appeals opinion so that everyone sees the complexity of the case that we had to deal with. https://law.justia.com/cases/texas/fourth-court-of-appeals/2022/04-19-00738-cr.html Still, in criminal defense, many times, we save our clients, but their family members get angry with us because we haven't avoided all consequences. I believe that this is the situation here. I understand that you are angry and that your anger has to go somewhere. However, it is being misdirected. It was clear from the sentencing that if the judge had an opportunity, she would have very likely sent your loved one to prison for much more than the two-and-a-half years he received. I am very grateful that the jurors returned a verdict that did not allow that to happen. As far as publishing trial transcripts I would welcome that. Good luck and I hope the coming years bring you and your loved ones peace.
