My crime was a federal felony for making a false statement to a bank. I was looking at 46-57 months in prison based on federal sentencing guidelines and was not eli...gible for parole. Ms. Orr, her partner, Gerald Goldstein, and their team, worked tirelessly to put forth the strongest of cases. The judge sentenced me to time served of 1 day and supervised release of 5 years – an extraordinary outcome by any standard. This meant that I could continue to live with and support my family and rebuild my life within the community. Plainly put, Ms. Orr saved my life and allowed my family to stay together. I can never adequately express my gratitude to Ms. Orr and will keep her in my prayers for the rest of my days. Her intelligence is off the charts. She is highly perceptive, articulate and detail-oriented. She knows the law and is a consummate professional. I always believed I would be treated fairly while under her care and never doubted her commitment to my cause.
