Disappointed

In june 2015 I hired Mr. Davis to settle my late husbands estate ( he died intestate ). Mr. Davis stated that his fee was $2500. And he wanted to be paid up front. He was to get a probate court date for me to. Be declared administrator of estate in order to take care of unfinished things my husband l...eft behind. His office lied to me numerous times about having a court date which was then, told to me "the judge had a death in the family, the court clerk didn't schelduel it, the process server wasnt able to serve someone, it was put in the newspaper ( I asked for a copy of the hard copy ( never got one ) and I called the newspapers myself they never heard of him. ) etc. I personally went to the court clerks office myself to inquire about a date what was the problem after a year of these lies and was told my attorney only was there one time in October 2015. She has not had a request from him to be put on the docket. After a year and a half of all this deception I terminated our relationship and asked for a refund of my money ( I took out a bank loan to pay him ) since he did not do anything that I was told he did. He never answered my request and I am still waiting on my money since September 2016. I called the bar association and am still waiting on them to do something. I Would not. Recommend this attorney to anyone He does not know what he is doing nor does he care.
