Found myself in an awkward situation that had me facing a charge for a firearm without a license. A lot of very shady lawyers were swarming me with misinformation and ridiculous prices. I did a lot of googling and JL Carpenter was my top choice, and after a phone and then an in-person consultation I ...was confident I'd made the right choice. On my first court appearance I was nervous, I see all these people and their lawyers and a lot of these lawyers look very questionable, some look like parodies with half-untucked shirts and sloppy hair, cowboy hats with a duster, etc. Then I see JL come in as professional as can be, all business, quite a relief to be honest. All it took was a little patience and about 4 court dates and JL got my case dismissed for a gun class and a few hours of community service, which I consider a major victory. She doesn't lolligag around, she gets the job done, she gives realistic expectations and better results. Money well spent, would recommend, I hope I never have to see her again but I have her card in my wallet just in case.
