About me

Sean C. Timmons graduated summa cum laude from The University of Texas at San Antonio with a degree in History. After being honorably discharged from the Army as an enlisted Soldier he attended South Texas College of Law, in Houston where he graduated cum laude in December of 2008. Sean entered the Army JAG Corps in 2009 and was honorably discharged from active duty in April of 2013 having risen from Private (E-1) to Captain (O-3) during his military career. Sean's broad legal experience includes administrative law, military law, estate planning, family law, employment law and advocating for veterans benefits.  He is licensed to practice in Texas and is certified as a Judge Advocate to practice in military courts. He sincerely enjoys being an advocate for his clients and strives to stay current with the newest case law affecting everyone he represents and his practice.  During law school, Sean tutored incoming law students on Contracts, Torts and Constitutional Law as a distinguished Langdell Scholar and received the Academic Merit Scholarship among other academic honors. Sean is a member of the Houston Bar Association, American Bar Association, The University of Texas at San Antonio Alumni Association and the Family Law, Military Law, International Law and Labor and Employment Law sections of the Texas Bar. He is a member of the Federal Bar Association and the Federal Bar Association Labor and Employment Law Section. He is also a member of the Houston Bar Association Speakers Bureau and volunteers as a lecturer for various community groups on a variety of legal topics.  Sean lives in Sugar Land, Texas, with his wife and two children. Sean is currently in the process of obtaining an LLM Degree from the University of Houston. He is also a member of the elite College of the State Bar of Texas and attends continuing legal education courses frequently to stay current with all legal, social and economic developments around Texas.
