I have always had a passion for immigration law. My father came to the United States from Guyana on a student visa, and married my mother. Growing up I saw first hand how complicated the process can be as my father sponsored his siblings. In my own life, I lived in Strasbourg, France for a year and was able to visit many of the European countries during my Junior Year Abroad. I also served as a Peace Corps Volunteer in the West African nation of Mali for 3 years where I developed a great appreciation of living with people from other cultures.
