Since this happened just when the pandemic just starting, I hired Sullo & Sullo to represent me. I wasn't able to talk to an attorney at that time. My court date kept getting postponed due to the pandemic. After several years, I finally got a pre-trial date. Once I was at my pre-trial hearing and... met with the attorney and explained that the information on the ticket was wrong. The offense location was wrong, the type of vehicle I was driving was wrong, and I believe after waiting a month after the accident, the officer had all the facts wrong. I was not guilty of the offense and the attorney suggested to plead not guilty and request a trial by jury. That's what I did, also showing the ADA the proof why I was contesting the citation, but she told me she couldn't dismiss it at that time. She had to go by what was in her computer. I could pay the fine or go to court. So let's take to court. So with the pandemic still in play, I have been waiting for over another year to go to court. I finally got the news from Sullo & Sullo today that the ticket has been dismissed and the offense has been removed from my driving record.
