As many immigrants, I've been having some problems since I arrived the U.S in 2007. Well, my family member really screwed up by stating she feared going back to her country upon being denied entry into the US at the Houston airport. Now, she was to be detained for an undetermined period of time and get on a list to see an asylum judge. Mrs. Alikaj-Cano fixed all this. We tried two other attorneys and all said the situation was basically hopeless and we'd have to wait it out - with a member of our family detained in a place full of undesirable people - horrible.
