Terrible law firm and terrible results

This is the absolute worst law firm I have ever worked with. I would not recommend the Law Office of Bryan Fagan to anyone. They billed me for what should be considered administrative work and then showed up to court unprepared. They failed to send me a copy of my paperwork, they excessively billed m...e, the lost the case, the have been withholding my refund for a credit request for months saying “oh the paperwork wasn’t submitted right” every single time I call and say they’ll resubmit it. They fumbled serving the opposing party until I called the process server and told them exactly what to do to get them served , after racking up a bill with the firm. Total incompetence.

BEWARE!

DO NOT USE THIS LAW FIRM! My Best friend has spent over $70k and her divorce has not been finalized. Her husband has spent less than $10k. They have constant turnover and charge their client as a result. New paralegal texted to introduced themselves $130 bill. For one sentence. She's had 3 new parale...gals over the course of almost two years. Her attorney quit. They are charging her for the new attorney to learn the case. They do these docket checks every week and charge. It's a way to nickel and dime their clients. She spent over $5k to show up for a court date that the paralegal failed to actually schedule. Huge mistake, but guess who paid for it! I wish we would have researched them more. Now I'm researching how do we go about reporting them. It sounds like everyone needs to come together for a Class Action. The response is a joke! We have an extensive amount of documented correspondence with this law firm. They stopped responding. She called FIVE times over the course of two months trying to get her remaining escrow balance returned to her. I say again. DO NOT USE THEM!

Unprofessional, Expensive, and Poor Communication — Avoid

I retained the Law Office of Bryan Fagan in June 2024 for a straightforward, uncontested step-parent adoption. Despite submitting all required documents promptly—including having a signed relinquishment prior to hiring the firm—the case was mishandled and dragged on for nearly a year without progress.... I have paid over $10,000 and still face a $13,000 balance, which far exceeds the normal cost for such cases. The majority of charges appear to be for internal meetings and delays, rather than actual filings or legal work. The case was dismissed due to the firm’s inaction, and I was never notified of this dismissal—I learned about it from the other party involved. The firm later reinstated the case themselves but then withdrew from representation, citing my unpaid balance as a “financial hardship.” I contested the charges and attempted multiple times to resolve the issue, including sending demand letters, but received no meaningful response. Communication was consistently poor throughout, with little transparency about case status or billing. I expected competent and timely legal representation but was met with delays, unexpected fees, and frustration. I cannot recommend this firm to others seeking reliable legal assistance.

DO NOT RECOMMEND.

Hired this firm for a simple, uncontested step-parent adoption. Despite already having the signed relinquishment, the case dragged on for nearly a year with no progress. I was charged for repeated internal meetings, but nothing was filed on time, and the case was ultimately dismissed due to their ina...ction. I wasn’t even notified—found out from the other party. After reinstatement, the attorney withdrew, saying the case was a "financial hardship" to the firm due to my balance. I had contested the charges, and received no response. I provided everything asked of me in a timely manner and received nothing in return but delay, poor communication, and unnecessary costs. Completely unprofessional experience.

Worse law firm ever

I dont really know where these positive reviews are coming from. Please check Yielp.com. My experience with this law firm has been the worse in my 65 years of existence. They quoted me $5000 and four months for a probate case. After 5 months, the bill was over $12K and no ending in sight. Only few do...cuments were sent to the court which doesn't mount to that! The communication is poor, and they charge you for everything. Documents were filled wrong and after they corrected them, they charged me. They had internal meetings about the case (don't know why) and they charged me for it. Got to the point that I had to terminate the contract. Even after that, they kept charging me for their internal discussions about me cancelling. They sent me an email confirming the cancellation and they charged me!! They sent emails to wrong people and they charged me. The court didn't publish my brother's death because Bryan Fagan never answered the courts phone and never paid for the publication so I am basically starting from square one. No one would answer the phone and their billing department is a joke. The lawyer answer one email to my new lawyer which only took less than 15 minutes and she charged me for 1.5 hours. UNBELIEVABLE!! People, do yourselves a favor, RUN AWAY FROM THIS FIRM!
