I hired Mr. Busby as my divorce lawyer in 2011. My divorce included a custody battle of two preschool girls. In all occasions he provided accurate information in a professional manner. At no time during the divorce was I lead on that the outcome would favor me. This can be a hard realization, but at ...a confusing and trying time I can say that honest and clear information is welcomed. His demeanor is passed on through his staff as well. I had never received any legal service prior hiring Michael as my attorney and in the instance that I ever require legal services again, in the fields that he specialize in, I would not think twice to hire him again. My experience included regular meeting and updates on my case. As well as being instructed on how to present myself during the trial. I feel this payed off hugely during the trial. There were several instances that I was instructed not do or say certain things that I saw my ex-wife do and the reaction from the judge was not favorable to her. Just being prepared for the trail was worth the fees alone. Also as a trial lawyer he displayed to me his vast knowledge of the law and experience. I cannot say the same about the lawyer that my ex choose. Only having seen two lawyers in trial in my life I benefited that mine was Michael Busby and not the one that she chose. As it turned out the results were in my favor and he kept what was the most important to me in my life, my children. Also, I would say that in the time of a divorce money is a major factor. Understanding this he makes a divorce possible financially without leaving you financially burdened that you cannot pick up the pieces of your life and move forward. His office filed my case under the wrong name. I called the district clerk's office to verify if my case was filed and the clerk's office couldn't find it, because it was filed under the wrong name. When I questioned Bugsby about it, and told him I would seek another legal counsel because I wasn't... satisfied with his services, he refused to have the documents amended and said he was done with my case.
