I’m sharing this review to not only highlight the disastrous experience I had with Busby & Associates—particularly with attorney Andrew Iwata and Michael Busby—but also to caution others who may be seeking legal counsel. My custody modification case was handled in such a negligent and unprofessional ...manner that I am still considering filing a formal complaint with the Texas Bar Association. Mr. Iwata made a critical error by drafting a court order that did not match the judge’s ruling. When opposing counsel identified this mistake, rather than taking responsibility and correcting the problem he created, he withdrew from my case, leaving me in a far worse position. This abrupt abandonment forced me to scramble for new representation, adding both emotional and financial strain. I had already poured thousands of dollars into Busby & Associates, only to be left without any positive outcomes. The damage done by Mr. Iwata and the firm was so severe that I’m now in the process of recovering from their mistakes before I proceed with a formal complaint against them. Mr. Busby only made matters worse by threatening me if I filed a complaint against them. It’s taken a significant toll on my well-being, but I feel it’s my responsibility to warn others. If you are considering Busby & Associates, please think twice. In my view, you risk facing the same lack of professionalism, accountability, and basic diligence that I experienced. This is my personal experience and honest opinion. I hope it serves as a warning to anyone looking for legal representation to do their due diligence and seek out attorneys who will not leave you bearing the consequences of their own errors.

I hired Busby in March of 2016 for a modification of child support. He screwed up my case. He had an associate attorney appear on my behalf when he said he would go and he never apologized when I brought it to his attention. He was disorganized and called me last minute (night before court) to get mo...re documents. Very unprofessional. I would not recommend using him if you need peace of mind.

I initially spoke with Mr.Busby assuming he would be handling my case. My case was sent to one of his associates. I gave them over $2000.00 for my divorce case. I had two appointments for court which they never showed up to court, therefore my case had to be reset twice. Several times I tried to rea...ch his office and no one ever returned my call. After over a year on the case I tried to get some of my money back but I was just ignored and never received a phone call back or money. Please stay away from the scam artist
