Lazy Lawyer

Let’s give you all a real review. He is terrible. I will never recommend or refer him. I would have much rather we had no lawyer on my case than to have the type of representation I received. Very poor organization, communication, professionalism and knowledge on my case. Every time I spoke with him... I had to re explain everything that was going on. I didn’t receive login portal information until a week after a flat fee of 1000 paid to him. Nothing was ever in writing, I had to ask multiple times for him to even send a letter of representation to the courts to communicate with the board. He was hired roughly at the end of Feb/ beginning of March. At this time of being hired I wanted to know all fees and possibilities I could be up against. In the very beginning I asked could I fight this case to not have it on my record. He was totally down had a bunch of BS information and hope. He explained the number of appealing and if the case were out of the city of Houston. The courts settled my suspension date and everything by April 16. I spoke with him on that day in DISGUST also clarifying there was no reason for me to have to communicate with him. May 20 I received a call mind you he NEVER called on his own throughout the entire time he was representing me. He called and wrote messages on his portal and adding 340 communication fees, and more random fees. Although we hadn’t spoke in a month. I will not be paying him anything additional from the flat fee 1000 paid. He made invoices with over 4000 dollars of “work”. Ultimately don’t read these anonymous reviews and run with them take your time to do more research find you a lawyer that cares. He does not

Our Firm negotiated an Order with the Occupational Board that Jalyn agreed to and signed off on. She allegedly committed the following actions that put her license in jeopardy: According to the Investigative report, she (1) failed to remove the patient from the list, (2.) mixed up patients in the same room, (3.)recorded labor time incorrectly, (4.)engaged in wrongful early billing and overproduction, and (5.)there were labor discrepancies.-not correctly reporting work; (6) stated to the investigators that she did not enter correct labor time;(7) improperly grouped services. In the face of all these allegations, with the client's complete approval, an Order was agreed upon to prevent the client from losing her license. At every point in the representation, the client was informed and gave her approval for the work we accomplished on her behalf. When we could not have the case completely dismissed, the client became unreasonable even as she signed the Agreed Order. Again, she was fortunate that her license was not revoked; only by hiring experienced counsel was she able to retain it. Big Law would have charged the client over $10,000.00. She got what she wanted and then decided not to pay her legal fees. Please see the almost 300 reviews by former clients; the fact that a few are negative shows the validity of those with three stars or more. Over fifty years, it is hard to please everyone.

Recommended for bar admission questions

I retained Bob to assist with a bar admission matter. He was very prompt to respond and advised me quickly on the best approach. His fees were reasonable, and I felt reassured having the benefit of his many years of experience. The advice he gave seemed to be the prudent course of action, and in the ...end, my bar admission went through without a hitch.
