Don't make the mistake of facing the BLE alone.

When I first received my BLE preliminary determination letter I found myself in an indescribable panic. It felt as though everything I had worked so hard for was flashing before my eyes. I called several attorneys and all made me even more anxious---partially because they demanded an outrageous amoun...t of money I knew I wouldn't be able to come up with but also because they made my situation sound doomed from the get go. Thankfully, Mr. Bennett returned my call the very next day and without ever discussing money, he walked me through everything I could expect to have happen. He did this again in person, before ever discussing money, and that's when I realized he genuinely cared. Almost three months later, having already successfully presented my case before the BLE Board, I remain confident that Mr. Bennett was the best decision I made in this process because he's not only incredibly experienced, but he really cared about the outcome of my situation. Even if you think you have an easy case that's sure to be dismissed, don't make the mistake of trying to be both your key witness and advocate. The stress of defending yourself before the board only heightens as the date approaches and you need somebody on your team like Mr. Bennett that has countless years of experience and a relationship with the board you are presenting before.

BOLE Character and Fitness Hearing

In the beginning of June 2017, I received a letter from the BOLE stating that they had made a negative preliminary determination due to the fact that my application lacked the Character and Fitness requirements to be a Lawyer in Texas. I received this letter when I was preparing for my 2017 Texas Bar... Exam. The letter took a serious hit on my self-confidence. That is when I found Mr. Bennett’s handout on “10 Reasons to have an attorney” for the BOLE Hearing. I am an international student, and I had no intention of hiring an attorney, until I found Mr. Robert S. Bennett’s website. It was an interesting website which had plenty of free materials to read. His hand out made me realize that I definitely needed some help to get through the BOLE process. After a lot of hesitation I left a message on the website stating the problem I had with the BOLE. I received a reply from Mr. Bennett within a day and we spoke in length about the issue I had. Over the next couple of months Mr. Bennett was extremely helpful, and most importantly accessible, when it came to reaching him and answering questions about my case. Mr. Bennett helped me build a strong case, he personally spoke to my witnesses who were my law school professors and my current employers regarding my case and gave them accurate information about their positions as witnesses, and coached them as to what type of questions might they be asked in the hearing. Mr. Bennett coached me thoroughly before the hearing in such a way that no questions that were asked to me by the panel were a surprise. I am so thankful and glad that I made the right choice by hiring Mr. Bennett because my hold was released and my admission to the bar was approved. This was a huge relief for me! Right through the process I found Mr. Bennett absolutely professional, very supportive, and encouraging. It is hard to find lawyers who have reached great heights in their career yet seem so down to earth, Mr. Bennett is one of them. I 100% recommend anyone our there facing a hearing before the BOLE to hire Mr. Bennett and trust in his experience. He is the best you can find and his rating and reviews are a witness that I am not the only one who feels this way.

Outstanding Legal Representation Before TX BLE

Defending your potential law license (or any professional license) can be risky and end with devastation if you do it alone. Fortunately, I had the pleasure of hiring Bob Bennett to assist me in every step of the way, and I know it was the best decision I made. Attorney Bob and I met years ago. Bob is not only very intelligent, caring, understanding and strategic, but he is a winner. He gets results. Why should you hire Bob? Well, it’s very simple; he has rapport with the Board, he knows the process in and out, and ultimately he’s the game changer. Thanks to Bob, I can now practice law in the great state of Texas! Please make the smart decision of working with Bob! You’ll learn some things you never knew!

Experienced, Knowledgeable, and Effective Attorney Dealing with Matters before the Texas Board of Law Examiners

I recently hired Mr. Bennett to assist me with a Character and Fitness matter before the Texas Board of Law Examiners. I received a preliminary determination letter that I lacked the requisite moral character to practice law in Texas - a frightening moment for any law student that has spent years to ...finally become a licensed attorney. At first, I hesitated to seek guidance or assistance from an attorney, as I thought I could handle a hearing and the entire process on my own. I did extensive research into my situation and what I could expect regarding the process, as well as into attorney's who have experience in these kinds of matters. Mr. Bennett was by far the most qualified attorney I discovered and looking back, I now know that I absolutely made the right decision in deciding to hire Mr. Bennett. The process is long, stressfull, and more burdensome that you one may think - hiring an attorney is in your best interest, and I would highly recommend Mr. Bennett to any law student who may find themselves in such a predicament as mine. For those worried about finances, know that Mr. Bennett was extremely flexible with me regarding payment, and even allowed my to pay an extremely reasonable flat fee over a period of months. Throughout the entire process, Mr. Bennett's guidance was nothing short of highly professional, and his guidance and support eased my stress and anxiety regarding the entire process as I studied for the Texas bar exam. When it came time for my hearing, I was prepared and as calm as I could be due to Mr. Bennett's familiarity with the process and guidance in preparing for potential questions he anticipated. In the end, Mr. Bennett achieved a complete win for me, as my application was approved and my negative preliminary character determination dismissed. After going through the entire process, I could not imagine doing it alone, without the guidance and support of an experienced attorney like Mr. Bennett. Regardless of the seriousness of your character or fitness issues, I highly recommend hiring Mr. Bennett to assist you with your matter.

DO NOT MAKE THE MISTAKE OF DISMISSING THIS ATTORNEY MERELY BC OF THE DISCIPLINARY ISSUE POSTED ON HIS PROFILE

Thanks to this wonderful human being and his extraordinary intelligence as an attorney, I am now a proud (good standing) member of the Texas State Bar. What differentiates Mr. Bennett from other lawyers specializing in licensing matters is that Mr. Bennet has been through it himself. No one can... understand the stress and burden of potentially being denied a license to practice within the field he or she has dedicated their entire life to, unless that person has been through it themselves. Thus, with Mr. Bennet on your side, you not only have an unbelievably talented attorney, but also one who has previously been in your shoes. After hiring Mr. Bennet to represent me, I can wholeheartedly say, without any doubt whatsoever, you will not find another attorney specializing in this field who exerts the passion Mr. Bennet has for helping those facing licensing issues. Mr. Bennett is exactly the type of lawyer attorney I aspire to be. He embodies the kindness and compassion that is highly preached about in the legal profession but rarely seen in practicing lawyers. My personal experience with Mr. Bennett stemmed from a professional licensing issue. After months ofdiligently researching lawyers specializing in this field, I concluded that Mr. Bennett would be the right man for the job. Despite my research, however, I hesitated before reaching out to Mr. Bennett because of financial issues. Thank God however a few weeks prior to my hearing, I was able to raise most of the reasonable fee he quoted me and therefore I decided to give Mr. Bennett another call. I explained to him my issues, both legal and financial; Mr. Bennett however, from the very beginning, showed interest in only one thing, my legal issues. Before ever paying him a single dollar, he gave me selfless advice, for a worst case scenario, on how I could resolve the matter myself if worse came to worst regarding my finances. I knew from that moment forward that Mr. Bennett was the attorney I would hire if my wife and I were able to raise the remainder of the very reasonable sum he quoted me. Nonetheless, his selfless, priceless advice, guiding me on how to move forward on my own if my finances prevented me from hiring him, demonstrated his compassion and understanding, and most importantly, it showed me that Mr. Bennett's number one priority was to make sure my case concluded with a favorable and just outcome despite whether or not I hired him. About a week after initially conversing with Mr. Bennett, I was finally able to raise the remainder of the money to hire Mr. Bennett (Thank God) and I immediately drove to Bennett & Associates to retain Mr. Bennett's continued counsel. To keep it short, I can tell you that my instinct to hire Mr. Bennett, despite the red worded warning on his profile, was dead on. His counsel and representation was certainly worth the very reasonable fee I paid him and much more. I can say, without any hesitation whatsoever, that if you have a licensing issue, Mr. Bennett is the man you want to hire. No matter your situation, whether you are struggling financially or believe you can resolve your issues personally, I still highly recommend giving Mr. Bennett a call because, first and foremost, his number one priority (from my entire experience with him) is to help you get the best result possible. In essence, whether or not you want to hire an attorney to resolve your case, I highly recommend you reach out to Mr. Bennett prior to your hearing because at minimum you will get the opportunity to consult his vast legal knowledge in this field and as a result increase your chances of winning a favorable decision from the licensing agency you are facing. For me, Mr. Bennett, as referenced above, was able to get the the entire case dismissed. If you decide to retain him,I have no doubt that Mr Bennet will do everything in his power to do the same for you. Good luck!
