I needed to start up my first Texas company and wasn't sure where to start. Daniel demystified the whole thing and explained the process. The most important thing to me is being able to get answers and advice when I need them. I got everything I needed and now my business is up and running and I didn't get charged arms and legs to set it all up. No nonsense and great service

I needed legal help with a tax problem so I needed someone I could trust to help get me out the hot water. There are plenty of options out there because there are way too many lawyers. But when you find a guy you can trust you feel like you are going to be taken care of. Not once did I feel like I was being overcharged or ignored. I felt like my legal situation mattered and I felt like it was being handled. I trusted Daniel and he did not let me down once.

I needed a will and all them related estate planning documents. This was a painless process. We talked through emails for the most part. I gave him my information and what I wanted to get done he drew up a flow chart to make sure we saw eye to eye. This was affordable and painless now I have piece of mind since I got all my question answered and he even came over to my house for the will execution ceremony. Good Lawyer

Texas is not a very friendly place to a couple of confirmed bachelorettes that fall in love with each other; then accumulate property and investments together; and start a family together. While love is supposed to be beautiful if it is between two conscious and consenting adults, our families did not think so. We had a long road to hoe (imagine that, two lesbians wearing flannel shirts and using gardening tools outside) in life. So when our relationship fell apart it was incredibly insulting to be treated with a total lack of respect by many local family law lawyers. Conservative Republicans burning a hole through me with their piercing stares of hate did not make me feel welcome sitting in their offices.
With quite a bit of money tangled up between us over the years (she is a physician, I work in finance) I had no idea where to turn. That's when something nice happens when you least expect it. I was at a wine tasting with some of my lesbian biker friends (was that redundant?) complaining about not knowing what to do next regarding my failed relationship. One of my friends, who is a friend of a friend of Daniel, gave me his contact information and told me just to meet with him for a few minutes. While friends are the one thing you have left when you have split from your lover and your family left you behind years ago, I still didn't have much faith considering how the other lawyers had treated me.
Daniel (Danny, but he would not be happy if I told you that he let me call him that) was everything they said he would be. When the other lawyers sat there judging me, putting me on the brink of tears right there in their office, he was compassionate and listened to my story. He asked me a lot of questions and made me feel like a human for the first time in a long time that he was there for me. I am not totally helpless, I earned an MBA, but still the job of a lawyer is to get you comfortable with what is going on, what comes next, and to know someone is guarding you, protecting you. He was a centurion keeping me informed about everything that was happening and everything we were still waiting on.
If you need a lawyer that is an adult, like he can instantly look past the mistakes you made, and just start helping you out - then you can not do better than Danny. I think he is a perfect person, I would not be the same person today had he not represented me, I would probably still be going lawyer to lawyer crying in their office.

The only dealings I have had with a lawyer was 15 years ago getting a divorce. With a son about to graduate from college I knew I was starting to get old. Some of my girlfriends started talking about estate planning at brunch a few weeks ago. There is no shame to admit some of them are doing much better than me in life with nicer cars and more jewelry than me. But I raised a son that went to college and that makes me content. My girlfriends explained the difference between "board certified" and lawyers that are not - if you have a lot of money and sophisticated needs, you need a board certified lawyer. If you are just trying to sort your affairs then you still need a good lawyer, but one you can afford. As I was searching Yelp, Google reviews, and the State Bar website I made a few calls and sent out some emails and this lawyer wrote back quickly and professionally from his own email account - some of the other lawyers I had contacted had paralegals or assistants responding and that just turned me off, my legal needs were not reinventing the wheel, I just needed some documents for peace of mind for my son. This lawyer is not board certified. But he does have a Master of Laws which means he had additional coursework after the JD program, including a specialized Estate Planning course. So instead of getting a board certified lawyer like my girlfriends I got a LLM lawyer and as a UH graduate myself, and with a son at UH, I liked that I could keep my business in the UH community. This lawyer might not be board certified but he answered every single question I had about estate planning. He worked with me. He treated me nicely. You couldn't ask for better customer service from a lawyer, I would have no misgivings on recommending this lawyer to anyone at church or my girlfriends.

Im no stranger to the law-caught some charges years back-and worked with differnet lawyers over the years. None treated me with as much respect +kept me in the loop on what happened next with my case-he always answered my calls hisself I never had to get answers from a nonlawyer in his offcie. I always knew where we stood with my divorce-he gave me copies of all papers filed-which the other lawyers never did. He was young for a lawyer-this was in 2011-but he was nice to the bailiff +handled my business in front of the judge like a much older lawyer. He gave me my dignity back to finally get away from my mean ex. Now she can go ruin some other mans life since I am free of her. I would hire this lawyer again if I ever catch more charges-I trust him with the law
