Kept me informed

Michael Weston and his staff, do what they say they took very good care of my problem and kept me informed all the way through the ordeal. With a very good outcome.

old credit card debt

Kate and Jessie at Weston and Associates have truly been angels to me and I appreciate them more than I am capable of expressing. It's rare to run across a company, much less a law firm who helps a person who isn't having the best of luck, and even though they're not a high paying client, they trea...t them as through they are a VIP. I contacted two law firms who advertised expertise in old credit card debt collection and the other firm was rude on the phone; they let me know they weren't interested in my case and they weren't even polite about it. Kate and Jessie, who I dealt with at Weston, were always concerned and patient and kind. AND they got my case dismissed. Weston and Associates treated me wonderfully and got my case dismissed. Who could ask for anything better?

No Hassle, Friendly and Attentive Staff

I used an AMEX card to get me through college and racked up a good chunk of debt. I always made the minimum payment but as we all know 2008 happened and no one was able to pay their cards if they were putting themselves through college. The day after the constable delivered the lawsuit to me at my ...home (not even enough money to have AT&T internet), I immediately looked online at work to see what outcomes will happen. Luckily in Texas, your wages will not be garnished, but I needed to resolve it. My search expanded to Mr. Weston's website. I made contact with Kate and she asked me to email what I had received. I did and she was able to tell me how much it would cost and what would be done, in just 20 minutes. Talk about a free consultation and I will tell you of the technologically advanced office of Mr. Weston. I lived 800 miles away from his office and all things were handled through email. I set up an easy payment plan with his office and no one harassed me to pay it. They just asked for all the paperwork necessary and I sent it. They contacted my through email primarily, which is what I asked and there was absolutely no headache from them. I could honestly tell you that I was able to live my life and enjoy it without the stress of a looming lawsuit because Mr. Weston's office and Especially Kate had kept me well informed of the situation. I will recommend Mr. Weston to anyone who has a Texas credit card lawsuit. You will get a technologically advanced office and very knowledgeable, kind, and courteous staff that treat you with dignity.

Incredible, Unbelievable, Outstanding

I became a victim of credit card debt and decided enough was enough. In 2001 one of my creditors decided to raise my interest rate after I closed the account. Through negative advice I stopped paying on the card in an effort to have them offer me a settlement. When I received the judgment letter from... the Constables office I was shocked to see that the amount was double at just under $7000. I called the collection agency but they were not interested in negotiating. Again through negative advice I decided not to reply. In 2011 I received another letter from the constable’s office stating that the collection agency was seeking a judgment of nearly $40,000.00. When I contacted the agency again they told me that if I Gave them a onetime payment of $12,000.00 or start making monthly payments on an interest accruing debt of $18,000.00 they would settle the issue. Fed up with the years of harassment I asked them to provide me a contract in writing and I would start making payment. The agency refused to provide me a contract and insisted that I start sending money first before any contracts would be made. While home on leave from Iraq, I found an ad in the phone book for Weston & Associates. Michael Weston and staff members, Kate Wallace and Nadeen Mahrous reassured me that the matter could be resolved and worked diligently with the collection agency for expedient resolve. When I finally returned from Iraq in November, Weston and Associates had worked out a settlement of $8500.00 which was far less than I ever expected. Although I pray that I’m never in that situation again, I’m thankful to know that their services are readily available if needed. Thank you, Michael, Kate, and Nadeen. Merry Christmas.
