Mr. Bynum returned my call and expressed great interest in taking a case, he stated his prices were client friendly, and that he could have a Habeas filed by a deadline, he did not meet the deadline but instead sent a retainer the day before and an email stating he knew this would delay it, and he had not done any work, though he told me he had. He was our attorney for shortly 2 weeks and was paid the amount he asked to file the Habeas, a retainer was never asked from him nor anything signed, until the day before the deadline and well after he had been paid. After reviewing his hourly fees which he failed to mention in his consult, we declined his services because he was not reliable and unaccountable for the things he said he would have done. His behavior afterwards was rude and unprofessional, he refused to refund the full amount though he admitted to doing nothing in his email, he would not even disclose the amount he chose to refund, instead he sent a check in the mail 6 days later with a padded bill. I read his Avvo reviews and thought he was good, along with his consult which seemed great, but there is a reason he only has 2 client reviews and they are from 2011, 1 of the attorney endorsements doesn't even know or at least does not acknowledge he endorses him. He seems good on paper, but my experience with him was horrible!

Attorney Bynum represented my hubby on a misdemeanor case - he fought the case and got it dismissed after about 3 resets. He kept us informed on how the process works and what to expect. The courts offered something like a plea deal with fines and probation- but this man knew his job and refused the offer. Finally the courts gave up and dismissed the case because they had no case originally. Many thanks to Attorney Bynum; I wish all lawyers were like him - do what they say they'll do and not otherwise.

I will remember this event and Franklin's work on my behalf as long as I live. I cannot say enough...I faced losing everything and can now go back to a normal life. Cheers to Franklin!!
