I had recently been accused of a serious crime from my ex girlfriend, after the officer called me I immediately contacted an Attorney (referred from friend) went to his office and explained what actually happened in the night in question...after hearing me out he immediately said "Ok we will just sit back wait to see when they add a warrant out for your arrest and we will see about a plea":....WHAT?????....he obviously didn't hear my story correctly, BUT he is the Attorney. So went to the bonds office that same day and singed pepper work needed. I literally called to Bonds office everyday for two days (morning afternoon and evening) waiting for a warrant....do you know how stressful that is??!! Well after talking to an officer friend of mine, he said he thought it was a bad idea NOT to go in and give my side of the story...well with said I contacted two other Attorneys and they all said the same thing....could not believe this....and then that weekend I could not believe I did not think of her sooner.....my friend Carmen....what the hell was I thinking about not to call her!!....As soon as I called her she immediately gave me the sense that I NEED TO MEET WTH HER......so came in right away, that same Monday morning....she heard ME out and said...."first of all I want you to know that everything is gonna be ok and we ARE gonna get thru this, I am going to call the officer and set up an appointment for him to hear your side"....FINALLY someone hears me!! Of course and thank you. Our interview was set for that Friday. Went in and gave in great detail, what happened in the night in question, after about a hour or so we finished and said he would get back with her on Monday....today actually......Carmen called me about 9ish am this morning and said that they were NOT going to consider any charges...YES!!!!! thank you Jesus!!! Finally I can move on with my life and not look back....Just think reflecting back, just for a moment, I would have been charged with a Felony probably in jail waiting for bondsman to get me out so I can start to get ready for a trial at some point in the future to fight for my name and character......THANK GOD I called her....I am at home with all of that behind me and I am looking forward to a wonder future.....All I can say (beside everything I have already said lol) is if you do not call Carmen Roe for ANY reason when you need a Criminal attorney, then you truly do not take the situation you are in seriously.......Im glad I did!

Prior to hiring Carmen i met with a couple other "defense attorneys" one couldn't follow the facts of the case the other basically threw his hands up before he was hired,, nonsense...
When facing a criminal charge there is a lot of anxiety and stress that comes with it, this case would affect my entire family's future and after meeting with Carmen for a consultation i KNEW within a few minutes that this is who i wanted on the case. I made this decision strictly off her character and demeanor when speaking with me. I didn't see any quit in her, shes headstrong, very sharp and aggressive and this is the attitude you want in your defense attorney. A+++ ladies, Thank You

I previously hired another attorney to handle my case, and after many months of reset I felt as if that attorney wasn’t on my side, and was trying to push me into something that would ultimately destroy my future; that’s when I sought out to hire another attorney. I met with Carmen Roe, and I explained to her my situation with the previous attorney, and explained that the Judge was upset that there wasn’t any resolution to my case; she listened, took notes, asked probing question. I was truly skeptical about hiring her at first since I had previously hired another attorney that didn’t do anything other than reset the dates. The one thing that she did tell me though was that I had to trust her if I hired her. After a night of debating, researching reviews, credentials; etc, I ended up hiring her the very next day and both her and Elizabeth – her paralegal, began researching all of the information I gave Ms. Roe in our meeting. Both of them did everything in their power to get things back on our side; they saw options instead of obstacles!
The one thing that I really enjoyed the most was the communication from her office. All of their emails and phone calls were returned within 24 hours. Both of these ladies will treat you as if you are there ONLY client! Ms. Roe also made her cameo appearances to court on time, and made sure that she aggressively pursued the District Attorney that was handling my case, because it had been going on for so long. Eventually, the District Attorney gave up, and my case was dismissed. Overall, if you are in trouble, and it seems like the odds are stacked against you; HIRE Carmen Roe. I trusted her, and my case was dismissed!
Mana Yegani, Immigration Attorney
Relationship: Fellow lawyer in community
Attorney Carmen Roe possesses an absolute wealth of knowledge on criminal defense and appeals. Even more importantly is the tenacity she uses to defend her clients. I have seen Carmen get exceptional results when it all seemed impossible. She is relentless, experienced, and called on for advice by Houston's top criminal lawyers on a daily basis. She speaks at many seminars and is a well respected attorney in the community. I endorse this lawyer.

Carmen Roe is a incredible apellate lawyer who I have recommended to my clients. She carefully looks at your case to find all errors that can help overturn the judgment and has had many victories. Carmen will tell you upfront about your chances of success, she just won't take your money like some lawyers. If I needed an appeal I would hire Carmen Roe.
