I retained Keiko Griffin in my divorce and child custody case after she was recommended by a colleague. I worked closely with Jennifer and Ms. Griffin during the process, which lasted about 11 months from start to finish. The process was intimidating and scary, and Ms. Griffin and her team were gentl...e and sympathetic but extremely professional and knowledgeable. My primary concern was surrounding custody. I identified my desired outcome, which was a step-up custody arrangement for reintegration (among other things), and Ms. Griffin was able to guide me as to what was appropriate and reasonable and made suggestions along the way. Jennifer and Ms. Griffin took time to hear my concerns, and they explained when I needed clarity. It was even more phenomenal to watch Ms. Griffin during the final hearing process. She was personable and professional, and her ability to maneuver through the process with ease was amazing. I was incredibly nervous, but I felt like I was sitting next to someone who truly cared about me, my children, and the outcome of my case. Ms. Griffin and her staff were amazing through the entire process. I wasn't just a case number; I felt heard, and I felt like I mattered. They truly paved the way for the next phase my life. Given the strain of a failing marriage Ms. Griffin was able to negotiate the terms of my divorce agreement allowing me (the mother) custodial custody with zero geographical limitations as well as adequate support for ...the children. Upon my return request for Ms. Griffin's legal representation, she again showed the court why in the best interest of the children they should remain in my custody, their mother. While achieving success for her client is a priority, Ms. Griffin will still educate on both parties communicating to effectively co-parent for the well being of the children involved. I was fortunate to have her when my co-parenting failed.
