Daniel has handled an expunction case for me recently and as well as a felony case. He is very thorough and we got the best outcome possible on the case. I was placed on PTD program. I completed about 60% of the given time period then my officer told me at the meeting I can apply for the early discharge of the program. I was skeptical about getting it approved through the DA when i was only about halfway done with the program. I email Cara(paralega...l) just to INQUIRE about the processes and fees with regards to expungement in case i was early discharged not expecting to get anything done that day. After 20 minutes, i get a response from Cara. In the response, she explained about the process of clearing my record and she also mentioned that Mr. Peugh will reach out to DA for early discharge. I thought okay, maybe i will hear back in a few week. Then, within an hour of the last email communication, i got a call from my PTD officer. The officer told me over the phone my case is dismissed! what a pleasant surprise! This tells me number of positive things about the Peugh law firm. Responsive and Effective - One email and 90 minutes was all they needed for getting me early discharged from the program Experienced and Connected - With over 20 years of experiences and as a former Chief Prosecutor for the Denton County, he is well connected with the people who he has to deal with and he knows what he has to do to execute in a timely fashion. Another important thing i want to point out is that he`s fees are priced reasonably.

My case started off as a state felony charge (organized retail theft). Within a week, he got the charge reduced to a Class A Mist. He got me on the Pre-Trial Diversion program, if successfully completed- expungement is possible. However, due to a failed drug test I was kicked out of the program. Be...cause I was in good hands, I was able to get on probation. During my probation period, I was arrested on two separate occasions. Daniel did what he does (WIN) and I was reinstated and continued probation. A couple of months before I was due to expire and be released from community supervision my probation was to be revoked due to failure to report and a dirty hair follicle test. I was facing jail time. After admitting to Daniel of my drug dependency, he informed me that I could get help through probation. Again, Daniel worked his lawyer magic and the terms of my probation were modified. I only had to serve 5 days of jail, had a 6 month extension, and was able to receive intensive out patient treatment that changed my life. I got clean, found recovery, and successfully completed community supervision and was released from probation, dismissing any further charges.

I was wrongfully accused back in 2014 and Mr. Puegh was able to work that case and I was never prosecuted. However, due to the law that case had to sit there for at least two years before it could be expunged. I reached out to Mr. Puegh again to handle that for me as he said he would back then. He qu...ickly accepted, reviewed the old case and started the process. Except for the wait to get on a docket, which he has no control over, he made the process quick and simple. Fill out a few forms, pay the retainer, go to court at set date and time, and poof!! He made it so painless and now my records are clear as if "IT NEVER HAPPENED!! Thanks again

My daughter was accused of drug possession but the drugs were not hers. Unfortunately, she was with the person who had the drugs. Mr. Peugh charged us $3500 and said that he could have her record expunged. She worked hard to pay off the extra court fees and fines and did community service only to fin...d that she now has a felony record. When questioned, Mr. Peugh informed us that she will need to find a criminal defense attorney and pay extra to have her record expunged. He claims that he informed her of this. But, when I originally consulted him, he never mentioned that the $3500, court fees and community service would not give us the final goal. My daughter gave him the authority to share information with me but, apparently, he did not share this extra information. To add fuel to the fire, when I called to ask about this situation, his secretary told him, in a very offensive voice, "Now, it's the mother." I never write reviews, especially not bad ones. However, I feel like he took advantage of us during a very stressful time. I'm sure that legally he has every i dotted and every t crossed, but that doesn't make it right. I hope this never happens to anyone else.
