My Brother previously hired a different attorney whom gave him the run around and basically took his money with no assistance. My brother was arrested for a crime that he did not commit based upon his prior criminal history and guilt by association. The police allowed the actual culprits drive away, while they detained my brother and put him in jail. He retained the services of an attorney (not Lesa initially) to represent... him and help prove his innocence, but after 6 months (and more than a dozen attempts on my part to connect with him regarding my brother's case, evidence, his defense strategy)...I concluded that he'd made no effort to do so.
