I had a great experience with Bob Leonard and his knowledgable team--from Bob, himself, to his paralegal, as well as his office staff. Everyone is helpful and really cares about their clients. I also loved their online system that allowed me to interact with any of them 24/7 or to see what was goi...ng on with my case. I would definitely hire them again!

The worst lawyers in North Texas. We were so displeased with their service and intellect that we took the risk of firing them in the middle of our case. We could not take another day of dealing with complete incompetence and lack commitment to our case. They never kept us up to date on the work th...at they were doing (assume because they actually did nothing). Bob was clearly unfamiliar with current family laws. I sent him several family codes to update him on existing laws to help him prepare for our case. He spent most of the billable hours sharing stories with us of his past that had absolutely nothing to do with our case, we would try to redirect him to something relevant to our case to no avail - eventually I just completely ignored him. We were literally billed thousands of dollars for this office to do nothing. When we asked them to get a little aggressive or to try to collaborate with the other attorneys, his comment was he did not want to "not rock the boat". If we wanted an attorney to do nothing, we would have gone pro se - which would have actually been better than hiring them. Bob showed up to our first court date looking disheveled and unprepared. His representation was an embarrassment. When we finally made the decision to fire this firm, they refused to give us a copy of our file to transfer to our new attorney even though our court date was a short time away. They said they need signatures from all lawyers involved and the judge in order to give us a copy of our file. Our new lawyer indicated this was not necessary, that it was our file and we had the right to receive a copy. They finally said we could get it, after the court date passed. I assume they billed us to copy the entire file that we clearly did not need following our court date. His entire office staff is very unprofessional, rude and have no empathy for their clients. It is clearly time for Bob to retire and this office to close its doors. Trust me, save your money and stay far away from this firm. His associate is a young lawyer who is very green and did not add any value to our case either. The good news is, the new lawyer we hired is terrific - aggressive, knowledgeable and got everything we were looking for in 1/4 of the time that Bob's office had the case. Thankfully we got out of this horrible situation when we did. STAY AWAY!!
