Rebecca Eaton is a Senior Attorney at Kearney, McWilliams & Davis, PLLC who represents healthcare providers and entities in a variety of business, employment, and regulatory matters. Her experience includes structuring complex transactions and business arrangements; drafting employment agreements, noncompete covenants, confidentiality provisions, and employment policies; managing regulatory risks; resolving pre-litigation employment, business, and shareholder disputes; and representing providers in administrative proceedings, including hearings before the Texas Medical Board.
Prior to joining KMD, Rebecca was a business litigator for fifteen years, representing clients in business and commercial litigation matters in state and federal court, administrative proceedings, and arbitration. She litigated business and contract actions; employment disputes; trade secret and noncompete lawsuits; director and shareholder disputes; fiduciary duty litigation; fraudulent transfer claims; high-asset trust and estate disputes; and document-intensive and technical discovery and evidentiary matters, including protocols for e-discovery and forensic examinations of computers and mobile devices.
Currently, Rebecca serves as the Chair of the Tarrant County Bar Foundation, a charitable organization established to provide legal services to Veterans and indigent community members and to fund community service projects. This year she is helping to plan the Foundation’s second “Justice for All” Gala, expected to be held in November 2022.
In her spare time, Rebecca trains for triathlons and other endurance events. In 2019 she completed Ironman 70.3 Texas and Ironman 70.3 Waco. She is currently training for the Bike MS Roundup Ride, a two-day, 150-mile ride beginning in Frisco, Texas and ending at Panther Island in Fort Worth. She also enjoys down time with her two Covid-adopted Bichon pups, Oscar and Disco.
Rebecca has been named the Texas Rising Star, in Super Lawyers, the Top Attorney in Civil Litigation in Fort Worth by Texas Magazine, and a Top Attorney by 360 West Magazine and 76107 Magazine.
