also known as Ben Peppard
Ben is the founder of Peppard Law Firm firm. The firm handles issues involving Entertainment Business, Family and Criminal law. He credits his ability to handle such a wide range of cases to the many veteran attorneys in Fort Worth who have provided incredible support.
Ben drafted producer and artist contracts for the concert series surrounding the 2013 Winter X Games in Aspen, Colorado. He has provided brand management and agency work for Sons of Fathers. Peppard serves as legal counsel for the independent film company: MiRefuge Entertainment. He also represents J'Lee, a talented country artist with 15-plus years in Nashville.
Ben co-founded Instrumental Angels, Inc., whose mission is to donate musical instruments to children fighting illness. Ben recently founded PepStart Innovation which works to move product ideas to market through product licensing agreements. He has monthly meetings with venture capitalists, inventors, and entrepreneurs who focus solely on getting start-ups off the ground.
Peppard was recently recognized by Worldwide Who's Who for showing dedication, leadership and excellence in legal services. Prior to founding Peppard Law Firm, Ben was assisting in legal matters at Swift Law Firm, PLLC, which included matters involving the Texas Deceptive Trade & Practices Act, bankruptcy appeals, mineral purchase contracts, criminal offenses, probate, and commercial real estate sales.
Ben also served as a law clerk for the Honorable Steven Kirkland of the 251st Texas Civil District Court, where he primarily focused on the analysis of default judgments, motions for summary judgment, special exceptions, and motions to disqualify counsel.
As a law clerk for the law firm of Greenberg Traurig, LLP, Ben assisted in drafting various pleadings, including those related to railroad arbitration and a patent infringement suit.
He earned a Bachelor of Business Administration, cum laude, from the Mays Business School of Texas A&M University, which allowed him to attend law school on a scholarship for academic excellence.
Ben holds a Juris Doctorate from the South Texas College of Law. In his first semester of law school, he and nearly 200 others tried out for the nationally famous mock trial team. Ben was one of the few selected, and one of fewer to be selected in the first semester. He also participated in moot court and in the STCL Direct Representation Clinic, where he handled probate cases.
Ben also served as a judicial intern for the Honorable Judith K. Guthrie of the United States District Court – Eastern District of Texas and as a legal assistant at the Law Office of Craig M. Greaves.
