IN MAY OF 2008 I RECEIVED 2 TICKETS FROM THE TYLER POLICE DEPARTMENT AND USED MR. PLATTEN TO TAKE CARE OF THIS SITUATION. HE DID ALL THAT WAS REQUIRED BY GIVING NOTICE TO THE COURT THAT HE WAS RETAINED AS MY ATTORNEY. ON 4/9/ 09 MR PLATTEN FOUND OUT THAT THE CITY COURT DUE TO THEIR NEGLECT WAYS ISS...UED WARRANTS ON ME FOR THESE TICKETS. IN TYLER IT IS NOT UNCOMMON THAT IT TAKE A YEAR TO ADDRESS TICKETS WHEN A LAWYER HAS BEEN HIRED TO ADDRESS THIS. AFTER FINDING OUT ABOUT THE WARRANTS MR PLATTEN WENT INTO HIGH GEAR TO GET THE WARRANTS LIFTED. THEY WERE TAKEN CARE OF IN 3 HOURS AND MR. PLATTEN MADE THE CITY WRITE A LETTER THAT THE WARRANTS WERE LIFTED BECAUSE DUE TO THE CITY OF TYLER NOT DOING THERE JOB MY JOB WAS IN JEAPORDY BECAUSE I AM A PAROLE OFFICER AND WE CANNOT HAVE ACTIVE WARRANTS ON US TO KEEP OUR JOB. About a year ago I was at a bar celebrating my friends birthday. My friend wanted to go home and I offered to take her since I had not been drinking. Mr. Platten represented me when I was accused of DWI. He assured me he would do everything he could to help me. The day of trial I was nervous and I was offered probation.
