I was accused of harassment and other false allegations that threatened my livelihood and clean record. I had never been in legal trouble and was sure of my innocence so my initial thought was to just explain my case to an investigator, provide evidence of zero wrong doing, and move on. Boy was I wrong. The State picked up the case and suddenly I’m in way over my head trying to explain the most unexplainable and outrageous accusations you could imagine. A friend suggested I hire Jason Horton. I never told them or showed them but he and Ms. Teresa helped ease my anxiety to a pretty functional level during this time. Jason was not only able to get the case dismissed but had the foresight to prevent other judgments ( no contact order, protection orders) from being attached to my name as well. Jason struck me as a knowledgeable, down to earth, and straight forward attorney which was everything I needed. I wouldn’t hesitate to hire him again.

I found myself in the most horrifying situation that I had ever been in, unduly charged with a crime that I did not commit... my entire livelihood stood in the balance. Jason not only took on my case, but was sincere and compassionate about my circumstances. The PA offered a lesser charge, but I refused because I was innocent of them and if I needed to go to trial then I would have. Jason not only went to bat for me, and never once tried to pressure me into taking the lesser charge (as you hear some lawyers do to just be done with a case), but with his steadfast nature, diligence and professionalism, he was able to get my case completely dropped.
