On my way back home to Seattle from a vacation in Mexico, I was stopped at FWD airport and got detained by ICE in Alvarado, TX. I was detained due to a marijuana drug charge I was previously convicted in July 2017. Micheal and his team did the best they could and got me out in less then 2 months. I w...as a green card holder and I lived in Seattle for more the 13 years, I never though this was even possible. I saw it on the news but I never thought it would happen to me. The Presti law firm is very organized and understanding. Micheal come to see me at the Alvarado detention center just a few days after I was “Detained”. He contacted my family and let them know all of the paperwork that needs to be sent to him. Micheal was honest about everything and told me to patiently wait my turn because they aren’t many immigration judges in Alvarado Texas. I only had two court dates and I was released right after the second court date. Micheal filed more paperwork then needed to make sure I would be getting out. Also he made all of the court dates happen as soon as possible. I got a flight to Seattle and my family couldn’t be happier to see me, and by Micheal completing my case in a very short time I was able to go back to the same job before I got detained.
