I can't tell by your question if you and husband live in VA or you just got in accident when you were there. As others stated, VA is not a community property state. You need to contact a local family divorce attorney anyway to help you with divorce. He or she can answer this question with more certainty. Try the FIND A LAWYER tab on this website. They will be able to better help you after a review of all your specific facts. Many will speak to you initially for free. Good Luck!See question

No way! Definitely get a criminal defense attorney experienced with theft cases as your own. $80 makes it a class B misdemeanor. Use the FIND A LAWYER tab above on this website and search for local criminal defense attorneys that are experienced with theft over $50. Call a few and choose one you like. You have all weekend to research, and start calling Monday, or even email or leave voice messages this weekend. Good Luck!See question

If your lease says he doesn't need to give prior notice before entering residence, I don't know what claim you would have. If he has to give prior notice, then that could be a breach of your rental agreement. If you were gonna sue him, what would your damages be (harm done)? Sounds like moving on would be best move. If you're moving out anyway this weekend, he can't evict you before then... you're leaving.See question

No, do not plead guilty to a Class B misdemeanor. You were arrested for a Class B misdemeanor. If convicted, that carries up to 6 months in jail and up to $2000 fine. Thus, you say you cannot afford an attorney... but can you afford to do jail time and pay that fine (and have a criminal history, have difficulty renting apartments, getting a job etc.)?
You need a criminal defense attorney to find out what evidence the state has against you... to speak with the prosecutor, and try to make a deal that will keep this off your record. There are many options for you, but you need an attorney to help.
