Case Conclusion Date: 07.01.2001

Practice Area: Medical malpractice

Outcome: Confidential Settlement

Description: I represented 9 plaintiffs who were patients of a spine surgeon who allegedly had an active cocaine addiction. We alleged that the hospital where he performed complex spinal surgeries was aware of the doctor's cocaine usage but did nothing to protect the patients because the doctor was the #1 source of revenue for the hospital. Several of my clients sustained severe nerve damage and were permanently disabled as a result of the surgery performed by this doctor whose license to practice medicine has been suspended. This case was featured on a national news show.
