Amazing DWI attorney

Deandra and her team were with me every step of the way through my dwi experience. Although it was a very stressful situation, I never felt alone and there was always someone there for me to talk with and ask questions. It was also great that it was a flat fee agreed upon at the beginning as Denton C...ounty delayed my trial for well over a year. I highly recommend Deandra Grant if you ever need a dwi lawyer.

Excellent Attorney

Deandra was actually second chair in my recent DUI case in Dallas and was offering her support to my lead Attorney. To be candid, at first, I did not know what to expect since she was quiet for the first part of the trial. However, when her turn came and the focus shifted to the blood work, I was a...mazed. She was extremely knowledgeable of the subject matter often time more so than the Chemist who was on the stand. Through very deliberate and intelligent questioning and scene setting, she was able to paint a picture that made the entire courtroom, specifically the jury question may things. As mentioned, while she was not the lead in this particular case, I would highly recommend her in any situation to fight for your case. She is smart, tough, concise and thorough......

Still waiting for a call after several months.

I would strongly advise anyone seeking immigration services to be cautious when considering Deandra Grant Law. My experience with this firm has been extremely disappointing and frustrating. I engaged their services in March/April of 2024 and was immediately asked to pay $6,000 upfront for the proces...sing of my I-130 and I-485 forms. I promptly made the payment and was assigned to Cathy, who seemed to be the paralegal in charge of my case. She assured me that she would contact me soon to move things forward. Unfortunately, I waited two months without hearing anything from her. Assuming the process was simply taking time, I didn’t push. However, after the long wait, I decided to call her. She finally got back to me with a list of required documents for both myself (the beneficiary) and my wife (the petitioner). I sent over the documents as quickly as I could, but after another period of waiting, I had to follow up again. This time, Cathy asked for more documents, including pictures and letters from family members regarding our marriage. By September, she was asking for our passports, which seemed reasonable, but at this point, I was frustrated. These documents should have been requested from the start, especially since she was already aware of the details of our case. It felt like they were asking for information piecemeal, only to delay things further. Then, although closing the case had been discussed, there had been no final decision from my side. Cathy mentioned that she would talk to the attorneys to explore the options, and that one of them would call me back. However, the case was closed without any further communication or resolution, leaving me with no progress to show for my $6,000 payment. She had also supposedly returned the money orders for the applications, but I never received them since November. I continued waiting for a call and, in late November, reached out again. Olivia informed me that Cathy was no longer with the firm, but assured me an attorney would return my call. I waited throughout the holiday season, and by the time January rolled around, I discovered that Cathy was no longer employed at the firm, and my case had been closed. Not only had I lost the money, but I also lost access to my case portal, and despite multiple attempts to get in touch with the attorney, my calls were ignored. Olivia confirmed that the attorney had received my message, but there was no effort to resolve my case or respond to my concerns. The lack of communication, lack of progress, and the firm’s failure to fulfill their obligations left me feeling completely ignored.

So sorry you are unhappy after 15 + calls and messages to you asking over and over again for the necessary documents for a successful filing and you decided to "pause" then changed your mind and possibly changed your mind again? We wish you the best.

past client

I had this attorney a few years ago, and the results of me hiring her still haunt me to this day. I paid her nearly $4000.00 to defend me. I had never had a criminal record in my life. First off I never got a chance to meet her until 5 minutes before speaking with the judge. She advised me to plea gu...ilty so she could turn the charge into a class C misdemeanor. And this was the first and last visit to that judge. I've never been in trouble before so I took the advice. The second case I had proved more disastrous. She advised me to accept a plea bargain on assault on a public servant. Which it was a small finger scratch the officer received while her and two male officers pulled me out the back of a police car in handcuffs while I was six months pregnant in labor. The judge sent me a letter in the mail to speak with him about the matter, so I showed the letter to the law firm and they advised me not to speak to him. Doing so cost me nearly $ 15,000 later on with misc charges. If I had spoke to the judge it would have been dismissed I later learned from other lawyers. At the time I was working at a hospital in Plano and raising seven children alone without assistance from my husband. She advised against going to trial. So she said taking the plea would be better. This decision has cost me my employment and caused my children and I to be homeless and living in my Suv for months. At this present time I have a felony on my previous clean record and I have been turned down for evey health job I have applied for. I advised anyone reading this to do research when retaining the services of a attorney. And always be advised of your rights. Later on I got a the advice of several attorneys to look at my case they all stated it should have been handled alot better than it was. A few of them knew Ms Grant personally and they told me I made a big mistake in retaining her services. To late now.....
